I'm just starting iracing, rookie with T300, it's quite a difficult car to keep fast in the corners without winning the best spin in redbull soapbox racing, thanks for this simple, clear and short guide, im subscribe now
One thing I have noticed is that the driving line sometimes can be used as an indicator for the braking marker , even if you don't follow what it says sometimes you can use it's colors to do what you want
Yes, when racing others you aren’t going to always see the racing line and you’ll constantly miss things. Best just start with it off, in the long run it will help you a lot more.
coming from ac and acc, mostly driven GT cars - one question was coming up in my mind. the mx5 does have abs, why aren't you braking 100% and instead just break like 50%?
There can be alot of reasons to not brake 100% for a corner, it can be all from how the weight will make the car unstable, or if you brake 100% it can take to much speed out of the car, and therefor underdrive the corner. Braking late at 100% is not always the answer to be quick, so it can vastly vary from corner to corner, and conditions can make it different as well.
I love how short and sweet these tutorials are. Super helpful and right to point.

Second time playing iRacing ever, did a 2:2:1 and felt like I just drove a masterpiece...
Then I see this.
A LOT to learn then ahahah
I feel like that track is made of ice.
ooh i broke 2:00 min yesterday... was having trouble on a couple corners. i hope i can go sub 1:59 now

I wouldn’t recommend relying on that

The reason why you never brake 100% for more than a quick millisecond is that it overheats the tires and you lose grip. That’s the iRacing tire model.
iRacing looks like Minecraft 😅
Its not the best graphics 😄 they could use a good update
Its sweet with reshade with some tweaking, colorgrading, curve, bloom, ambientlight, DOF...etc. You can really do very good looking!
Yeah but it runs great on my potato.
