I know you specialize in tcg pokemon but I think a mini deep dive into team aqua and magma video to go along with this video would go hard. You already have a great way of presenting stuff and I think it would be great for youtube
I watch a lot of japanese tcg content. But when i heard the beginning of the match i was like “how the phoned tuned into a japanese video? I was watching Andrew.” This is amazing.
Team Star was a lot more plausible than "I'm gonna flood the world to make life" or "Let's blow up a volcano in the middle of the region and kill everyone cause maybe we'll end up with more land at the end of the day"
Cole is so knowledgeable and skilled with these old formats it'd be cool to see if was able to optimise the decks to play against each other (such as not having Dessert Ruin). I've often wondered what would be possible with a specific 60 vs 60 format, be great to see it with these classic cards
In a gen 3 format I used to have fun playing TA Walrein + Blastoise ex + pokemon park. It got beat easily by fast decks like zapdos but in slow matches like this I was very cool
What a treat! 🙌 I remember those cards from back in the day.😅 I was pregnant at the time and had a lot of time on my hands to play, but out of loyalty to my favorite legendary Kyogre I lost most of the time.😅 Would have loved to see it vindicated, but I definitely know why it didn't. 😄 Great video! 💚 And awesome editing!🤘
"advanced organizations" that think blowing up a volcano in them middle of a region, or flooding it, will somehow make the world a better place. Even as a kid that never made any sense.
Team Aqua wanted to flood the planet because water = life. Just ignore that that would end the lives of all land based creatures from flowers to humans. Team Magma wanted to get rid of the oceans and create more land. Cause you know, everyone wants to live in Arizona and never see rain again. They are no better than idiots like Team Flare who wanted to destroy the world cause it wasn't beautiful enough. Team Yell aren't even the antagonists of the game. Just some dork fan/stalkers meant to parody irl soccer/football fans. Penny also wasn't an antagonist. She literally helps you the entire game and then reveals that all the problems were her fault to begin with and she needed your help to fix them. I actually think that Team Skull are very well written. They're actually very realistic. They're a punch of poor people, outcast from society because they don't fit in. They made a Ghetto and defend themselves and take from others to get by. I find them actually the second most plausible group. Plasma was annoying and roundabout. They were obvious hyocrites right out the gate but at least their real goal at the end of the day was just world domination again. Which again is a goal that at least makes sense. Their methods remind me of real world religious groups who pretend to have morals but do every bad thing they preach against. In my opinion the only true good antagonist Pokemon has ever had was Team Rocket - because they make sense. They're thieves and poachers with delusions of grandeur for world domination through their schemes. I left a comment and a like for engagement. Thanks for the content! These table top vids are my fave from you by far!
I think Cole needed to load up his energy elsewhere and then bench a Kyogre and move all the energy to it right away to attack with a fresh one. Those snipes totally gutted his strategy😩
:D these cards came out when i was too deep into Yugioh (i was 19 at that time) so i just saw the cards in tcg magazines (yeah we had those back then *lol*) and i found it cool that the villans actually got "playable" decks. But looking back... it was clear that team aqua got the worst cards compared to magma
みなさんこんにちは!このビデオを日本語風に編集したかったので、とても楽しかったです!すべての単語の翻訳を手伝ってくれたみなさんに感謝します。:) 英語のビデオが恋しい人は、9か月前のマホーンのせいです!

TRICKY GYM MORE LIKE TRICKY GOAT

I think Team Star are actually really fun. I love those goofs.

This is such a cool video tricky gym! Love seeing the kyogre groudon rivalry brought to life in the tcg 🌋🌊
The new evil teams don’t suck they’re just slowly changing the formula from what it was before and at least Pennys plan makes sense
Old school evil teams were different
@ yeah they’re plans sucked in fact every villain in Pokémon’s plan sucked except 3

I always thought that Camerupt background was a volcano erupting and not lighting 😅
commenting bc i LOVE this video and it deserves way more views
RIP Kyogre, that Team Magma deck is OP!! 😂🔥
Has nobody told Andrew about The Glory Of Team Rocket?
team aqua was my preferred deck back in the day
A single kid beating advanced organizations of criminals is still funny to me.

I love this era the most!
Golden age of PTCG was 2004 to 2011.
@@dudley90False 2015-2021
loved this set, a shame it didn't have like a team magma's groudon ex until 2015 though
Team Magma was the 1st deck I bought 🥺
I remember I charge up my Magma Aggron and multi flip on average 100+ damage every turn
28:24 is that 3D-rendered lightning or 3D-rendered magma flowing down a 3D-rendered volcano?

Team Aqua’s Lanturn would be so nice here
Maybe I’ll try building that!!

So hype!!!!
im really liking this tier 4 style, i watched them and its cool to see the style adapted to the west!
love team aqua vs magma! maybe u could try the xy mini set too
That’s the plan 😎
@@TrickyGym i mean kyogre is kinda bad cuz of float stone so, maybe some changes in the format are needed
wait why is there japanese?
✨Flair✨
A fair amount of Japanese players tune into English TCG TH-camrs too
