Hey Alex, just started your boot camp a week ago. I wanted to say thank you for making things so easy to understand and explaining topics in the level of detail that you do. I thought I would be overwhelmed at first jumping into it, but you've made it very easy to learn and retain everything you teach. Looking forward to the rest!
hey guys, as im watching this through I just noticed I completely forgot to add the recording of me making the drums. sorry about that. the drums were a simple pattern using a kick, snare, and a hihat.I also had two cymbals on the front of the drop to make it sound nice. the full playthrough is at the end of the vid.
hello Alex first of all thank you for helping me with your videos, i made a song called "Summer vibes" based on your tips, u can ear it on my instagram @denizkaza9495 is on the storys so is only for 24 h
#1: Creation tension on the build up (and pitch bending , chords that are in tenson) #2: Drop you create release on the chords, Learn music theory, what tension and release is, tension is outside the chord that is being played, and relase is playing in it.
This is my favourite tutorial I've recently found thank you. And also my favourite TH-camr in terms of EDM tutorials! I like how clear you are and also that you use Logic! :)
I just want to let you know that your channel has changed my life. I’ve learned so much from your videos, they’re so concise and well produced! I’m now a professional dj and have been signed because of your tips
Mister, Alex i just want to thank you. for this amazing vidio, you helpin a lott music lovers, and you are one of my bigg music insperation for me ,bigg thanks to you!
Great video! But seeing you sidechain would be invaluable to me! The rest I can do alright, but getting that complete stop on the synth combined with using some on the vocals really makes the drop!
Bro how tf do you make it look so easy tho!!! 🔥🙌🏼💯 So stoked I stumbled upon your page! Straight up gems my dude!!! 💎💎💎 Thank you for putting out such amazing content and for being so dope!!! Keep grindin ⚙⚙⚙
That’s a great production. But is it possible to make an edm song work with only one instrument? And after it works then layer all the good stuff over it? Just curious.
Great Video, I didn't quite understand tho why you chose a Sinus Wave as the Sub-Bass because it is the cleanest one because the waveform is round shaped and then putting Distortion on it, could've just used a triangle from the start, it also just sounded like a Reeze Bass.
..pls help, is there a way to make a DJ-style Loop Out/Build Up Effect in logic x? tried with the sampler but it does not support automation on the loop end point...any other way?regards
When I make massive illenium style drops, the kick is always slightly lacking some power. Any tips on how i can get the kick to pump harder? (at the moment i'm amplify the sound, upping the low end and using sidechain of course)
Hi bro, I heard a song by Rival called "Let it die" and I have an idea for a video. How to make orchestras for a song in the style of illenium or rival in this case. I hope you like the idea

Thanks for answering my question ! Your bootcamp group is full of very helpful producers . Highly recommended
#1: Creation tension on the build up (and pitch bending , chords that are in tenson)
#2: Drop you create release on the chords,
Learn music theory, what tension and release is, tension is outside the chord that is being played, and relase is playing in it.
The drop is so addictive! Awesome tutorial. Thank you!

Great video! But seeing you sidechain would be invaluable to me! The rest I can do alright, but getting that complete stop on the synth combined with using some on the vocals really makes the drop!

That’s a great production. But is it possible to make an edm song work with only one instrument? And after it works then layer all the good stuff over it? Just curious.
of course.
A synth is a instrument so yes you can make drums, vocal lead, saw chords, bass and so much more
alex thanks a lot for all of this tricks, can u make a video trying to be the closest as you can to lost frequencies ?
Great Video, I didn't quite understand tho why you chose a Sinus Wave as the Sub-Bass because it is the cleanest one because the waveform is round shaped and then putting Distortion on it, could've just used a triangle from the start, it also just sounded like a Reeze Bass.
A triangle doesn’t have that enhanced 200hz tone that a nice saturation has but I totally get what you’re saying
bro.... always gold!!!!!
that vocal chop is like jesus
Hey Alex do you do remixes? I have a song I would like a EDM remix to it?
Really nice video , can you make a tutorial for vocal chops
Awesome! Thank you kind sir!

BRUH THIS IS HEAT
Hi!!! What kind of monitors do you have? Yamaha HS5?
..pls help, is there a way to make a DJ-style Loop Out/Build Up Effect in logic x? tried with the sampler but it does not support automation on the loop end point...any other way?regards

Surprised you didn't add any Saturn to that sub :D
Great example that small project can be a BANGER 🔥, u should work on it and release it
Another useful tutorial.
amazing work and helpful
great explanation.
Thanks for that Q Bro! Was a big "?" in my producing time as well! :D
nice but can you show how you chopped up the vocals and did you use alterboy to pitch up the vocals? would be very useful
do you show how to make that vocal melody in the class
Pls teach how you did that chord side chain
Can this happen on logic pro beacasue i am using logic pro and i really want to make a drop
Thanks for video👌
Is the Serum Synth automatically on Logic ?as in free?
Please tell me he finished this track
Hey dude! Can u teach us how to make a drop like the one from opus (eric prydz)???
Wonderful stuff, one gripe, the video has quite a bit of background noise, makes it a big annoying to listen to the actually mind song.
When I make massive illenium style drops, the kick is always slightly lacking some power. Any tips on how i can get the kick to pump harder? (at the moment i'm amplify the sound, upping the low end and using sidechain of course)
This one's lit🙏
this slapsssss
Hey man how can I get in contact with you!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Serum is not built into Logic?
go to splice. they have rent to own
I loved the video, beside the sidechain, reverb and delay how did you get that sound with the vocal ? You pitched it ?
FrileX yea I didn’t mention I used soundtoys alterboy to get that sound. I increased the Formant knob and pitch knob to get that sound
Alex Rome thank you !
Im waiting for the drop 🤷♂️🤔
Dope!!!!!
Amazing
Incroyable merci
Why arent you using ableton?
my only downside is i use fl studio ;(
Hi bro, I heard a song by Rival called "Let it die" and I have an idea for a video. How to make orchestras for a song in the style of illenium or rival in this case. I hope you like the idea
