That balancing act is one of the most suspenseful things I've ever seen. And to see the worry and in the end the relief on her face is brilliant.
Cirque du Soleil definitely has the best art director.
Each show has a different creative team.

The costumes and makeup are phenomenal, make the performers look just like actual na'vi
I've had the absolute pleasure of watching live the incredible talent of the marvelous lady at: 49:00
You cannot feel through the screen the tension of the atmosphere during her whole performance. Everyone was holding their breath, scared of making her sticks fall. And when she balanced the last piece, the loudest round of applause I have ever heard came. It was amazing, I just was a little kid back then, and I barely remember the rest of the show, but I will never forget this wonderful lady and her breathtaking performance.
It's been over 10 years and nothing has made me feel the same way she did during those minutes.
Best single live Cirque act l've ever seen. Amazing!

Me and my aunt and cousins went to this show 5 years ago. Cirque de Soleil- "Toruk The First Flight- Avatar” It was the first live show i’ve seen. It was beautiful and amazing!
It would be cool if they could bring a shortened version of this to Disney's Animal Kingdom!
At the 30 minute mark, even with visible wires, this is still mind-blowing to watch. The precision and strength those ladies have is incredible.
I watched this live when I was 8 (and I still have the phone app associated with this show lol) and I remember being *SO SCARED* of the creatures at 6:10 😂
It was so cute to see the stage hands had tails haha!
I hope they eventually adapt Toruk into a movie like the original Avatar, and more of the Na'vi's history and maybe even mythology. If they did that I hope they'd use the costumes from the show as inspiration though I imagine they'd be used for their respective tribes anyway because James Cameron doesn't just let anyone work on his baby.
I really hope this comes back now that avatar 2 is coming out soon, Avatar has been and will always be my favorite movie and I'm still upset/annoyed I never got to see it
Me too. I almost got to see the show when they were in Minneapolis but due to health concerns we couldn't do it. I'm forever upset about it.
Well the second Avatar movie stays a fantasy for so manny but will never come to cinema or even will be made

I would love to see navi characters roaming Pandora in Disney that would be super cool, this show was amazing
This was talked about,, first there is a huge physical size difference as the Na'vi are 9 to10 feet tall (you see this when Neytiri meets human Jake in the original film) ,,The bigger challenge that any human in that position would require extensive de-humanization training "or they would simply reflect to visitors "I am a human actor in a Na'vi costume and not at all representative of actions and essence expression the Na'vi symbolicy represent in there cultural expression , it just would not work ..

Wow! I love the movie Avatar, Circus de Soleil's Toruk looks like a wonderful tribute to James Cameron's Avatar. Is it ever comes around the area of Riverside,Calif, I would love to see it. I had the privilege of seeing Circus de Soleil tribute Michael Jackson Immortal tour, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, it was awesome, the acrobatics, dancing, music, scenery, done with such respect to Michael Jackson oh, such a beautiful tribute. I couldn't sit still in my seat,I want to get up and dance.

I missed it when it was going through the Pacific NW.
My fist visit of CdS was, i guess mid 90ies. Since, i have seen many shows throughout EU bit the tribute to Michael Jackson i missed - if they had this show 7n Europe.
I’ve seen this a long time ago for my birthday. My first time seeing Cirque du Soleil and my first time seeing James Cameron’s Avatar live on stage. I love it!

Браво режиссёрам -постановщикам,спланировать такое представление оснащённое техническими спецэффектами световыми -это высший пилотаж в искусстве!сделать природные явления максимально приблежёными к действительности,водопад,наводнение,магма,вулканы,-потрясающе впечатляюще.
Костюмы,декорации-спасибо художникам,швеям,модельерам-работа ваша бесценна.
Актёры очень тетрализованы,что даёт спектаклю высшую оценку в передаче эмитации человеческих чувств,эмоций.

It is an AMAZING thing to see in person. Everyone just stops breathing after a certain point. You can hear a pin drop in that big top while she is going for the last pieces. It's incredible!

That's a fantastic idea for an musical evening with the family.
The kids will enjoy that as much as the adults.
A lot of colours, sounds and pictures they can understand, although they don't know a foreign language.
Music, songs, lightning effects and specials, artistic elements and dancing can always connect people.
Fantastic arragement and perfect artistic solutions.
If you loose somebody get the person/ dancer/ person you love back.
Then the point of magic will be reached by every person who watch that.
