How in the world did Rudi never become a big star? She sounds as good or better than many on the radio.
Seeing her on the voice is making me go back and watch these and she’s SO GOOD!

I was disappointed that Rudi and Matt chose to leave because they were the most talented in my opinion. With that said, I respect Matt for not stringing Rudi along for personal gain. Hopefully their friendship is strong enough to continue making music together.
I honestly think it’s going to end up like American idol and other singing shows where the people who don’t win end up being most successful. Also I think honestly I’m the long run marrying your singing partner isn’t the best option. If being friends is how they can continue, it’s the healthier option honestly.
I think he IS feeling her. The way he looks at her, especially when she isn't looking at him. He did do the honorable thing though, in trying to sort his "show high feelings" from real reality post , relationship longivety.

They don’t force it. The smiles they give each other, the fun they have performing together, and the moment they’re sharing you can just tell is genuine!!! They don’t look like they’re trying to perform on their own.

which tbh i don't understand because yes, matt was great here, but rudi was a star.
In the first song they sang together one of the commenters said Matt did a good job of "holding it down." I think it was Jason Mraz. That was accurate then and is accurate now. Matt does a great job of holding space for Rudi to shine. If we're being honest, no one would of been that impressed with him if he'd had a different partner. Rudi is a star. (I don't know if I love her personality based on her still being best friends with Jamie and throwing shade at Bri by saying Jamie was the winner in her eyes. They are both young, I get it.) Point is, Rudi was HANDS DOWN the most talented person on the show. No one can dispute that.
This performance was because of the two of them. They just blend and play off of each other with perfection.
Career-wise I think she will do better on her own than Matt will, Rudi is capable of writing her own music and not just doing covers.
Matt has already been doing his thing for 10 years .
This is one of the best duets I have ever seen.

I have now listened to Lady Gaga and Bradley and I liked Matt and Rudi better. She has a fabulous voice and Matt blends so well with her. I think Gaga sings more nasally. Anyway, I hope they are the winners and continue to sing together.

Sometimes its smart to let the girl do all the thinking for both of you Matt.
