I have a 1989 Rob Roskop board with the huge eyeball staring at you on the bottom. He even signed it. Old schools Indy trucks and some fat old wheels with 30 year old bearings. Its just around 10 inch wide and all the little groms from the skatepark always want to ride it and try to kickflip it.

The evolution of boards and styles has been insanely awesome to watch from the 90s on. Gotta say I dig your guys vids because they remind me of a simpler time in my life. Last time I was on a board I was 19, I'm 32 now and you guys inspired me to get back into it. I don't know how long it will take me but I plan to work my way up to shredding mini ramps. Thanks for the inspiration!

I recently purchased my childhood board. Found it on E bay. I’m pushing 60 and it’s a thrill every time I ride it. Makaha sidewalk surfer. I really love my longboards too!😊

I have my dads og cali free former board in the garage I threw some spit fire beer cruiser and som apex bearings on. It's as good as new 🙂. Love skating that board
Omg, I can't believe I'm seeing that board again. That yellow free former is quite literally the first board I ever had (i called it "the banana board" I guess cuz it was yellow) in 1988 I was 8 yrs old and my mom got it and a 70s huffy thunder board from a garage sale. I never really got into it, I was terrified of that thing and I broke the tail off the thunder board sticking it under the edge of brick steps on front porch to do wheelies and busted my head open covering the porch with blood, had to get stitches in my head. Didnt pick a board back up til I was 14 using my brothers hand me down sal barrier h street. From then I was hooked.
Reminds me of bombing hills and hard kickflips baggy jeans with a chain. In case someone was to steal ur beer money the chain was there. Great video ladys
