Some great alternatives to Mario Kart on the Switch, but which if any of our featured games today have you played and which can you recommend to others?
I made a Kart racing game "Ultimate Godspeed". Everybody keeps modify the race track by placing shortcuts and traps. Its basically a mashup of "Ultimate Chicken Horse" and "Mario Kart". Sadly its not on the switch, yet, but if people are intrested we might port it.
I love Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 (I have the PS4 version since the Switch version is terrible), Disney Speedstorm, Smurfs Kart, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure. I do have Beach Buggy Racing 1, Team Sonic Racing, and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 but I like Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed, Beach Buggy Racing 2, and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 way more. The kart racing genre is one of my favorite genres of video games.
Mario Kart is a bit overrated. Yes, it is nice, but if you play against AI it behaves a bit unfairly and often spoils the experience and fluent gameplay. Also, how difficult could it be to have given us more levels?

HIGHLY Recommend Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled.. it's even better than Mario Kart. It's just such a perfect kart racer in EVERY single way.
Thank you need this because all dlc of mario kart 8 (whuc 8 wasn't even getting) took way too much space on switch, but 8 missed playing it

I played so much CTR in the day but feel Kart racer Games are definitely better played against friends.
I love crash team racing. I love so much that I have the switch version and also play the yuzu with 60 fps and 1080p modded.
