I used some pantry wire shelves that give you a second layer on tall shelves like that. You can get them from Walmart/Target/etc.

It totally is! Not sure why whoever designed it the way they did. I would have done it differently and we probably will change it down the road!
You should place a partition between kitchen and living room
Hint. You should rotate your products not putting the new on top of the old. Have you looked into the can dispenser type of shelving?
