- We managed to do over 170 Necrozma and Ultra Beast Raids in under 24 hours! This was a long grind but very worth it! Our big goal was to get a Shiny of each Pokémon with the Sendai Background! This was tough!

I’m just gonna let know in case you don’t know but necrozma can not be shiny if you remote raid them without a tickets

Ngl, this video has me a little worried for NYC go fest, as I really want to try and get all shiny with the backgrounds, but these location card odds are horrible. They should make it so all shinies and hundos are guaranteed to have the location cards imo.
Or just guaranteed backgrounds for all raided mons for ticket holders honestly. The people that are there paid money to travel there, for the raid passes, & for the tickets w/ bonuses. They deserve at least a special background on 100% of the raids at the very least in case they get shafted on the luck

It was nice to finally meet you! I did about 100 raids and got 7 shinies (4 Necrozma, 2 Xurkitree, 1 Nihelego) I think 5 of them had the background. My prize was a hundo Necrozma (not shiny) in the last few hours on Sunday. My total shiny haul was 149 (41 on Friday, 47 on Saturday and 61 on Sunday). Got every non-beast shiny in the event except an unown "H". Very happy with that!
The event was great. Except for a little bit of bad weather everything went smoothly. My only gripe was the actual catching of the beasts. You were smart to do it early in the morning. I caught on to that and did it Sunday morning. It was so annoying to have them break out of 10 + balls when I wanted to spend more time catching or doing more raids. Beast balls would have made it so, so, so much better.

I did get 4 shiny Necrozmas! Shiny Guzzlord from special research, Shiny Celesteela (96%), and shiny Buzzwole. Still need Kartana, Xuritree and Pheromosa.

If i had Pokemon Festival tickets but i fail to go to Sendai, Madrid and New York Pokemon Festival but can i still has opportunity to encounter shiny Necrozma and shiny Xurkitree? Also shiny Pheromosa and shiny Buzzwole just using remote raid pass?

Because Niantic likes money 😂 and it makes them more rare. I saw peeps from LA Sinnoh tour that missed Origin Shinies without the catch card. Bummer for those who flew in for the event!

I’m going the the New York one and I never catch legendaries because I am very strong in the game and their is barely anyone who plays where I live. Hope fully I get the shiny necrozma
Some Pokemon are NOT DESERVED catch rate is so low in Pokemon Go. For example Audino.
There's me who relies on the 2 free raid passes per day and get a shiny raid boss every other day 🤷♂️
I live in 🇺🇸 so NY is loaded usually.

Question - when you start the raids that early in the morning was it just the one free pass then paid passes until the event started 930? Or did you go through all the free passes first and then start using paid? Wondering if it'll be worth getting up early in NY to get my raids done outside event times
This is why I never raid for hundos. I basically go until I get the shiny and then stop. Considering I have to get 3 shiny Necrozma though I can tell it's gonna be a challenge.

the WORST shiny rates. Go Fest should better the rates just a bit especially when people are flying across the world for it.
There are literally people in this thread saying they got well over 100, you either didn’t grind hard enough, or weren’t lucky. Go fests are never advertised as a way to get any number of shinies, and thats not really what its about, regardless they’re not guaranteed, and the entire point is that they’re rare. Make some friends and enjoy the game.
