@@emm0jade hey you never know, hopefully next time you go to drill a hole 🕳️ you’re spidey senses will tingle and it’ll be the best hole anyone’s ever drilled 🤷♂️ Thanks for checking out the video 🙏
Love this style of video, Deano. You're not talking down to the viewer and you're open to being corrected by supportive commenters. You're a good soul, mate. Also, that light shade of green that plagued your other videos isn't in this one. I'm starting to think it was a reflection off something green in your workshop or outside. Either way, production value is doing great! Keep them coming. (don't be afraid to use YT promotions if you have a couple of tenners to spare) I'm going to try and make a sim racer setup with basic Bunnings timber sometime this year and an old school arcade game stand, and you've already helped more than you know. Cheers mate!
@@Wheels_Paws thanks legend I really appreciate the support and your kind words🙏 The green tint Was 💯 in the editing but I think we’ve cracked it! I couldn’t do this without support from folks like yourself! I’d love to see a pick of your sim when it’s done
I didn't want to overstep but it was either a bright reflection (I have a bright green Ford) or colour grading post editing. Either way, looking great now. See you in the next one.
Grouse video mate. Even just for the Drill Bits, you’ve done a great service to many. Have a ripper 2025. That set of Forstners, where’d you source them? They’re a neat looking set.
@@DIYProcrastinator thanks so much, I really appreciate it 🙏 I got my forstner bit from timbecon in Perth (not sure if you’re in oz) There’s a few good sets on Amazon to for around the $150 AUD range. Hope 2025 is epic for you 😁
@@malamahaslem3412 I found these a couple of years ago, and they’ve changed my hinge game forever 🤗 I also regularly question what other treasures await me
Nice vid. Just a small correction though. HSS is just a material used in toolmaking. Yes, the 118 degree metal drill bits will say that it is made from HSS but so might Forstner bits, Bradpoints or any other number of tools that happen to be made from HSS. The important part is that drill bits designed for general use metal drilling will have a 118 degree angle to the cutting faces and deep flutes for chip removal. Depending on how expensive the drill bits are they might even have tungsten/ carbide or be a cobalt alloy too.
Great video brother 🎉🎉🎉
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks thanks brother, much appreciated🙏
@ no sweat bro 😎

I don't do much woodwork but maybe this great info will stick in my subconscious and be of use one day 😂

I had no idea there was a way to fix the wonky hinge situation 😮 Makes me wonder what else I’m just assuming
