I like how the pace in this is slow compared to the Adult Chykka theme. It captures the slow movement of the Chykka Larva and makes you feel stuck, moving in mucky water. It fits perfectly for the battle's pace and the area you're in (on one lonely round platfrom).
My favorite boss in the trilogy next to Emperor Ing. That "OMG" moment when I realize the two phase are the larva and adult stages of a giant dragonfly would already place it among the top for me, but the encounter itself is varied and feels completely different from one phase to another, one where you try to safely stay in the light bubble, the other where you *have* to move to avoid the attacts and get behind him. It's also nice he puts to use three abilities aquired here, the super missile, the missile launcher and the grapple beam. Plus he's somewhat challenging by the standards of the trilogy.
The bass is saying *get down, get down*
To all of those that says this has any similarities to Thardus' music needs to go to the doctor and check your ears.
thank you Quadraxis

Ok now this one sounds echoey with 1.25x speed. AND resembles the exact speed of adult form of chyyka
Without doing that I already knew

ayy lmao the Torizo battle theme in AM2R is a remix of this
Yup
Why do people think this is thardus's theme. They both have the same eerie mind twisting sound but they are different.
I can't help but think of Jungle Boogie when this plays...
this sounds like something you would hear in the wild like the forest or something
Honestly this sounds wonderful in 1,25 speed. I don't get why the last part is skipped in the adult phase.
Emperor Ing's theme is a remix of Thardus's theme. not Chykka Larvae
well, i can't notice ANY resemblence, i can't notice ANY note that is the same
gandrayda...
Flying Torizo...
it was kenji yamamoto the composer?
Yup
Quick question. Do you think he's still going to continue composing future titles?
thardus is dead for get it THIS THEME IS SO FUCKING MILITARY
@Akamuaru999 what's about silvagunner?
It's not entirely Thardus. The main rhythm is Thardus.
This sounds nothing like Thardus?
Samus: Eaugh! What is this thing?!
I must confess I had a similar reaction.
An evil caterpillar
So who cares if the music is recycled from other bosses? As long as it sounds good, most gamers don't care.
God I hated those bloating plant things. And the dark versions are no better
Lol. So it is. This is the Thardus theme. And rofl, SilvaGunner =D
lol this isn't the thardus theme, that theme has like piano music and stuff...
It's funny because this is a remix of the Thardus theme while Gandrayda's theme is a remix of this.
