Can't belieeeeve I let this slip by me for so long Act 1 is good. It's damn good. Just a good, simple introduction to the song that doesn't do anything as flashy as the other acts which definitely does work, overall was head bumping to this a bit. Act 2 is my favourite act of the regular All Stars and when I heard Omega's voice I was... a bit iffy, but when luigi yosh and w4r showed up holy shit I was hooked, how can you harmonise with yourself so good? Act 3 is when a fun drinking game begins - take a shot whenever the word align is used in this cover and you'll be dead lmao. Act 3 was my favourite in this cover, the Into The Pit reference had me shitting bricks and the change in verse of the Come Now part went hard, a bit disappointed to not here him drop 'It's-a-Me' in that slew of words. Act 4 is great. Just a really good sendoff, even if it gets a bit messy by the end, the other voices for the characters work really well and I was super duper impressed with it. Overall, this is an absolutely stellar cover, and a perfect sendoff to the MMv2 arc of this channel. I feel like the presentation of the lyrics are a bit of a hindrance to see what’s being sung. They come in too slow and leave too quickly for some people like me to read. That said, what you did looks and sounds great! All-Stars is NOT an easy song to write lyrics for, speaking from experience. The way you wrote Ultra M was nice and boisterous, but not so cocky that it’d give away that he’d win or lose necessarily. And act 3 was fantastic, I felt the creativity in those lyrics the most! Your take on the chorus was great too. And don’t think I didn’t catch a longestsoloever “No Exit” reference and a DHeusta “Into the Pit” reference.

I feel like the presentation of the lyrics are a bit of a hindrance to see what’s being sung. They come in too slow and leave too quickly for some people like me to read.
That said, what you did looks and sounds great! All-Stars is NOT an easy song to write lyrics for, speaking from experience. The way you wrote Ultra M was nice and boisterous, but not so cocky that it’d give away that he’d win or lose necessarily. And act 3 was fantastic, I felt the creativity in those lyrics the most! Your take on the chorus was great too.
And don’t think I didn’t catch a longestsoloever “No Exit” reference and a DHeusta “Into the Pit” reference.
You may be the only person that's caught No Exit from what ive seen ngl 😂
