All the pug cards are so cute and sort of really relatable since we love our animals and it really shows in the expressions on the faces of the drawn characters and the simplicity of the card. Who cannot relate to a dog and his favorite snack? Or his favorite toy or leaving a poop and kind of sneaking away from the pile!! I loved those! You are such an artist. Thank you for sharing these. Same! I’ve always been a crafter plus I do the same. I go through stages of things to do, for its. Been art journals that stuck. I do from multimedia to glue books to junk journals. Depends on who I’m watching. I did watch Shannon Green too. She got me into junk journal then i started watching Vicky and Marlene with multi media stuff then you crossed my path so I’m a on glue book journey now..

Nicole, you’re killing me. I leave next week for an indefinite stay with my 89 year old mom. My craft room isn’t portable so I’m creating a CARE package to bring with me. And now you’re tempting me with all sorts of ideas!
Theres's something really cozy about having a "toy box" or crafting kit with just a few favorites or small projects to focus on (rather than the ENTIRE craft room and ALL of its contents). When I was very young we traveled a great deal (military family) my mom would always make sure I had my own little carryon case FULL of things to keep me occupied on those--sometimes 13-hour flights. Ever since then, if I have my bag of goodies with me (now a notebook, book to read, magazines to harvest, a few pens, pencil and a small sketchbook with my travel watercolor kit)--I'm all good, whether it's a long flight, camping, dull event, or extended visit with family. The smaller "canvas" ideas here --ENDLESS possibilities to explore in a small small package that doesn't take up too much room. Good for you (and your mom--maybe she can get in on the ATC action and the two of you can create touchable, crafty-fun memories while you're there with her.) Safe travels.
Your ATCs are beautiful, thank you for sharing them. I have never made any just for me. I am always in a swap. I think I might make a bunch for myself now. (after I make the 18 halloween ones I need to do for this month lol)

They are ALL great! I have tons of those old 3D $Tree stickers. I've used them when I make Junk Journals for people. I used to make my own background paper umpteen yrs ago for my cahds. Think I'll do it again when I start making these.🙂 Really, Really liked the Twinchies! You gave us a ton of inspiration, thank you. I've always thought there was not enough time to read ALL the books I wanted to read. Now I think the same about papercrafting!

Hi Sherry! Yes, you absolutely can paint them❤️ Playing cards are usually very glossy, so you might want to add a coat of gesso first, or sand them down with a little piece of sandpaper before you paint them so the paint doesn’t come off.
There are no dumb questions here my friend! I just usually use regular cardstock (65 lb) that you get from the craft store. But you can also cut up cardboard cereal boxes (or other food boxes) and use them as the base as well! Anything goes :)
