My day was ruined when I learned that carrier pigeons only go one way and you have to keep capturing them and driving them back in order to keep using them.

Swedish is the second official language in finland so every product has finnish and swedish on it
Yet the Swedish speaking skills of your average Finn are on par with the Spanish speaking skills of your average white US Americans.
All I remember is that "dator" means a computer and "Jag heter" means "my name is". Swedish in Finland is one of those languages everyone has to learn for a few dozen or so hours worth of classes as teenagers and unless they become government bureaucrats they'll never use it ever again. Even Swedes would rather just communicate in English than try to decipher Pekka's high school Swedish from 15 years ago.

It depends on where in Finland you live... On west coast area swedish is mandatory, and you won´t get any job without it, And on eastern border areas swedish have absolutely no use at all, and almost noone speaks it

Finland is a bilingual country, like, officially. Many groceries and other items have labels in both Finnish and Swedish. I don't know if it's something that's regulated, but stuff like expiration date etc are always in both Finnish and Swedish.
Bilingual only by law tho, no one actually knows how to speak Swedish 😂

Also swedish is the second official language of Finland.

Alot of our products have both swedish and finnish text on them, swedish being our second language and all that. Our word for milk is maito.

If I remember right Arla is from Sweden. I think in other side it reads Maito and other side Mjölk.
I think at some time they moved milk from farms to Sweden for processing and shipped back. I think now they also have processing plant in Finland.
Yup Arla became more common in Finland after they bought the finnish company called Ingman Foods in 2007.

Milch iss the German spelling and it's pronounced with the soft ch, so closer to "milsh" than "milk".

The google translator does it's thing again. Milk would actually translate to 'maito'. 'Maito' is like how in english you would add 'the' to specify a single thing. 'Maitoa' in other hand would then be without 'the' and would mean milk in a broader more open sense, if you understand what I mean. In a way like 'the milk' vs 'milk'.
It doesn't really work like that because Finland doesn't have anything that correlates to "the". Maitoa does not work either as a replacement for milk since a question like "What is milk?" would translate to "Mitä on maito?" or ""Mitä maito on?". Milk=maito and the milk=maito.
Can confirm, its nearly all forest and lakes / water bodies here. You'd have to really try go out to some real urbanized area at some city center to not be able to see trees if not an outright forest treeline in some direction.

It's a vicious cycle, with less people there's less work, services and shops get closed, and the hemorrhage grows as standards of living become worse.

Mjölk is swedish, maito is finnish. Arla is a swedish company, there are both finnish and swedish translations. Im a swedish speaking finn.. BUT i dont think i ever seen Arla milk in Finland? I buy milk all the time but i might be blind.

2:46 to explain something, in some parts of Finland. Electric scooters are absolutely despiced. Because the people driving them have even less sense of driving rules than bikers, but they also either leave the scooter in the middle of the road, or yeet the scooter to the nearest ditch. This is why at least three electric scooter companies have left Finland.
Edit: Teimo's seems that it for a while has been part of the K brand. Do not tell the finnish racists, but there used to be stores named kkk stores. They had no affiliation with the American one, but there is a reason why they disappeared from here.
