In light of these comments about calmness, serenity, ethereal presence in this world and achieving nirvana listening to this, I can't say that was my experience. I had a weird sorta scary dream. Lucid dream maybe, I don't know. Half awake-half sleep. I dreamed that I was listening to this same music in another bed, another room at my parent's place where I've grown up. Same state of the room as in real life- dark, cooler with a fan blowing, but the room was emptier from what I could see and there was an eerie feeling, like I was being watched. As I was listening to the ambience music the power went out. Fan shut down and my phone light went dark. Powered off my phone to conserve battery. I did that, but the music was still playing, even with the phone shut off. Maybe about half a minute later the power came back on. Fan was blowing and I place my phone in the charger. As the phone lit up to a charging screen I look up to see a mirror I have. In the mirror was a complete stranger. This stranger was staring at me angrily via the mirror and sitting at the foot of the bed I was on. Not a word or sound was made. Just staring. And like all charging screens it shut off leaving me in the dark with someone or something mad in the room I was in. That is when I woke up by shortly twitching myself in my bed, in my room with the fan blowing and a mirror to this music playing. It's a dream I probably won't forget. Stay safe people. Just like space there's a lot we don't know, even ourselves and what makes us. Warm thoughts and happy dreaming.
My trick for waking up out of a lucid dream is to go to sleep in the dream. Idk why I lucid dream so much, but that trick usually works. Don't worry, I don't think your dream means anything ominous. Your sleeping brain just put together some scary images. Some scientists think that dreams might have the function of showing us hypothetical situations to solve so we are more able to problem solve and think outside the box in situations we encounter in real life. That definitely doesn't mean something scary like that will happen though. Your brain was just overpreparing for something silly; like okay great but what if there's a monster in the mirror? lol.
