Hi Lisa, the manufacturer knew darn well it was the chip. The difference was him billing you for a $1.00 chip or billing the gun club for a "repair" and "shipping and handling"... you know the drill. Great repair and now you have the code for future repairs. Regards, Dave
He charges $45 for the replacement programmed chip with the software installed on it. Had to buy one from him before, that's why I surprised when he stating the chip is not the issue. Anyways, the repair was successful. 😁
