Thank you so much MIke, and I liked the music; although I am long in the tooth now modern music reminds me of my youth. My parents bought their retirement cottage just west of Camborne in 1967. I visited and fell in love with west Cornwall, and have never fallen out of love with it. I have rambled all over west Cornwall, and visited most of the mines. There was a retired school teacher, Bob Acton, who wrote walk books and I followed in his footsteps to many places off the beaten track. The industrial heritage is part and parcel fo the beautiful whole, it belongs there.
Watched this as a birthday gift to myself - someday I'm going to see your breathtaking countryside first-hand. Til then, thanks for the vicarious overview - Sharon in Northern California.
Mark, congratulations, a fantastic journey, so.much time and effort went into this, I for one truly appreciated it. I'm Cornish, live here, love the place, cant get enough, your aspect on places I know well has given me a depth of knowledge only the air can show. hope you get many more views. people need to see our lovely county. You've captured the enigmatic beauty, the majestic coastlines, the isolated yet compellingly tragic mine workings. Meur ras!
Un fascino unico paesaggi di una natura quasi incontaminata e un atmosfera positivamente misteriosa. Vorrei andare a viverci quando andrò in pensione. Lo spero.... E costoso vivere in Cornovaglia? Vorrei sapere di più perché avrò una pensione alquanto modesta.
Cornwall is Beautiful! I'm 14 and I've been going since I was little I know my way round some places, I've been that much, people who live there (by the sea) are lucky🤗 Just beautiful, also amazing filming!!😍
Wow you have been busy. There's alot of time and effort gone into capturing that many places by drone and on a nice day and right time of day. Some stunning footage here. I live in Cornwall and fly a drone but here are places I didn't know existed. Thanks for sharing :)
Great stuff - inspiring. I can see the 300 mile drive down there happening for me in the not too distant... What is that music btw? it reminds me of Chvrches, but American. I did a lyric search to no avail.
WOW , what a trip ! Some amazing places , probably never seen before this video , thank heaven the history is still intact in parts of our country , so much has been ruined with modernisation and overpopulation.
Music, by Think Up Anger ft. Mali J. If you go to Netflix and watch Riverdale you will hear it often. People wanting to see some of the fascinating industrial relics could buy Bob Acton's walking in Cornwall books; they are on Amazon. Many of the ones on here are on 'A view from Carn Marth' Thank you Mark, another winner.
I think mark did a lot of hard work to construct this video. Well done mark it`s superb. I managed to go to cornwall a few years ago and it was a great experience travelling round the coastline from penzance to st ives.
I love Cornwall and when I retire I hope to live there and see out my days. Could you tell me what the track title is? The only reason people put other peoples work down is because they can't create anything themselves. Wankers!
Hi, I'm a journalist, working for a website called Demotivateur (www.demotivateur.fr). I would like to know if I can use some parts of this video to create a short film/video content about the place and post it on our page and social networks. Of course, you will be credited on screen and tag on it. Thanks a lot 🙂 Cheers
Pity about all the ugly old mines and workings , my recollections of Cornwall are of beauty and spectacular coastlines .......mmmmm And , the music ! Yuk
Are you actually serious? Those "ugly old mines and workings" are part of Cornwall's past and heritage. If you don't like them then perhaps you shouldn't visit here.

Cornwall is stunning in the summer , some of the best beaches and prettiest villages in the world , but in winter it pretty much shuts down 👎🏻
Cornwall has a higher percentage of industrial waste land than any of the English counties.
I love Cornwall and when I retire I hope to live there and see out my days. Could you tell me what the track title is? The only reason people put other peoples work down is because they can't create anything themselves. Wankers!
The music please?
nume cringe.
normie
can you tell me the track name thanks
There should be a button in the app, like the website has, to mute shitty music like this, on any video.
Lovely video, shame about that horrendous music.
