Man I grew up in east NC. Hurricanes were a regular occurrence for me, so when another one came through, I wasn’t worried at all. That storm sat on us for 3 days, unlike anything we’d ever experienced, no power for 2 weeks, my entire city was destroyed. I remember riding around and looking at the devastation and being shocked that this was my home. I couldn’t believe it happened there. Places I knew my entire life were just GONE. It was surreal. What’s happening in LA right now is just unbelievable, so many people have lost everything.

Thankfully, none of my relatives were impacted to that much of an extent, but I am well aware of others who aren’t as fortunate. My heart is with everyone in LA right now, prayers up!❤️🙏
