Thanks, the photos are edited in lightroom. My camera settings: Video Settings: MODE M. Full HD. 25 FPS - Shutterspeed 1/50 - Aperture 3.2 - ND Filter ON - ISO125. if it's very bright outside, you'll need to go higher with the aperture, to 5.6 or higher. until the exposure indicator shows 0. @@pixelkiez Thnx for sharing the details/settings! Just started using my G7X ii = My first CMOS camera actually after years of digicams with CCD sensor, my first impression: Amazing little camera only need to get the right settings for the warmer cinematic mood feel, RAW or JPEG? I use Lightroom as well so can add some grain and warmer tones. @0:25 wow! Great shot! How did you get the bokeh? What setting did you use on that one? @5:35 love the CCD feel of it
@@genkishan Yes, it's amazing what this little thing can do. At 0:25, get as close as possible, aperture as low as possible, and you'll get the bokeh. I always shoot in Raw, so you have more editing options. Add a little more warmth in Lightroom and maybe a little grain and you'll have the look you want.
Unfortunately I don't have a video to film. You can also film in AV mode, but the result won't be as good. I always use mode M to film in video mode. I film at 25fps (Europe standard) and 1/50 shutter speed. In daylight you have to switch on the ND filter and increase the aperture depending on the light.
@@tts1551 Yes that works. In Davinci Resolve for example. You can slow down 25fps material with “Optical Flow” without it stuttering. Alternatively, you can of course also record at 50fps if you know you want it to be slow motion

Yes, that's why I filmed in the neutral profile. That can be graded a bit. The "bloomy effect" is made by the camera itself. It is a feature of the camera.

How's the stabilization on this camera? I've got a Sony ZV-1 and the stabilization is pretty awful. I am now looking to change my Sony for a small camera with better stabilization.
The stabilization is okay, not the best, but of course there isn't much room for good stabilization in such a small camera. You have activated Steady Shot on your ZV-1? Have you tried Catalyst Browse to stabilize afterwards?
Probably down to 2 aspects - first what you're doing with the camera e.g. how you frame shots, if you're exposing shots right, and second how you're editing in lightroom (all the photos in this video are edited on lightroom). I got one of these too, trying to learn how to get better but good to know the potential it has if we get skilled!
This is my favorite G7X video so far. Beautiful work! ❤

I need a camera for street photography and i am planning to buy canon g7x iii
Or the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 v which one would you recommend me
