@@JimJamThePianoMan Dude, this channel is new. TH-cam prevents new channels from posting links for safety reasons. You have every link available in the video itself when I mention them (all have the same structure, you just need to change the last numbers). You also have the full names in description. You just need to copy and paste them in Google to find each mod.

Thanks! I've subscribed back to you, great inspiration material. The celebrities inspired ones are very creative. And without mods? Wow. I'll be careful not to feature the same characters as you, exception being Ciri because I've been collaborating with a few modders to bring all The Witcher 3 main characters to BG3 and I'll be featuring Geralt, Triss, Yennefer and Ciri in the future. Not remotely close to yours though.

BG3 is the kind of game you would spend entire hours on just to create your own characters for fanfiction and fanarts and we would all be pretty happy, but then there's the game and the actual characters in it that makes you want to play it, perfect balance. XD
Facts! I got 100% achievements on Steam and now I mostly play with the Character Creator and new mode mods. It's great too for roleplaying with people that don't usually play games. My best friend was never interested in videogames and we've been having a blast playing it while drinking a few beers. She was making all the decisions while I played and she ended up buying the game for herself. 1st one she ever bought.

I have the game on my Playstation 5 so I can't use mods but I really love the game, I literally spent over an hour trying to make my own original character, before deciding to try an Astarion Origin run, I did have fun making the Guardian, took a little bit less long. XD But we have so many options in skin colors, horn colors, eyes colors, I went for bright, neon ones, and when I showed the game to one of my best friends who doesn't have it last saturday, she legit found my character to be way too flashy for her taste, granted I was making a bright pink tiefling with brigth purple hair. XD But she liked the many options available for character creation, she really loved the hair options too. I learned interesting facts playing as Astarion, as soon as I talked for a second time to Shadowheart on the beach after finding her I told her I was a vampire, and then somehow when I recruit the rest they all seems to know or something since like after recruiting Karlach I can talk about Cazador and stuff apparently, also Astarion can't jump to save his life, I swear I made him jump to one place but then it was impossible to get back to where we jumped from, only Karlach and Shadowheart could, but Astarion and Gale got stuck, even going to camp and coming back they were still there. XD I also had him multiclass into a bard, so now I talk my way out of many, many fights. XD
@@Karomix3 I got it in Early Access (so almost 3 years ago) and still find new details to this day. When you get bored of it, I recommend you a chaotic neutral run where you only choose the most stupid/ridiculous choices in every single conversation. I did that in my last full run and not only found many new missions and story arcs I haven't played before, I've never laughed so hard with a game in my life.
@@OnlyGuides I learned of the game via an Astarion picture on tumblr that was in my recommendations back in september, when the game was out, so I was able to skip the 3 years wait. XD Yesterday I ended up making 3 more playthrough alongside my Astarion run, thing that happened, made a tiefling druid lady that ain't the dark urge, then when I made her guardian I ended up loving her face so much that I needed to do the game with her too, so another playthrough I do exactly that, she is a drow wizard but with her pale skin and red eyes you would be mistaken for thinking she was my vampire fantasy. XD Then when I made the guardian for her, I also ended up liking the guardian's face, so a a third Tav is born, this time as a Githyanki sorcerer lady. I have a thing for pale skined, dark lipstick wearing, pointy eared ladies I think, my lesbian heart cannot stop drooling over them. XD But I am bi via being in love with fictional men characters, so all my 3 characters will end up with Astarion who is my crush in the game. XD Today after work I plan to check with my druid if I can use her Badger wildshape to just dig up treasure chests in the dirt instead of having to find shovels.
So an update, instead of doing what I said I should have done yesterday I went and made another Tav in another playthrough so now I have 1 Astarion run and 4 Tav. XD My fourth "daughter" is a Lolth-sworn Drow Cleric Criminal, only reason I made her a cleric was to have the Command spell to have that cool flaming sword from the Cambion general in the last part of the Nautiloid, got it. I accidently went a bit too far when recruiting Astarion, Gale and Lae'Zel and when I came back on the beach to pick up Shadowheart she was gone, tried a Long Rest to find her but she hasn't showed up yet, I wonder if I need to get Withers or get into the Grove first to find her strolling in my camp. Anyway my little Cleric Drow got the Druid class as a extra as soon as I hit level 2 with her, and then when fighting the raiders at the abandoned chapel I had her use Burning Hands on the 2 who were close, I didn't know it would also make the concrete pillar holding by the rope above me to get caught and it killed my Cleric by falling on her, and also the 2 other guys, the half elf literally got send through the floor with it. XD Had to redo it so only the guys would die and my Cleric would be fine but boy did I laugh. XD

Thanks for the video and mod list! The only thing I couldn't replicate was the spots/scales on the forehead and cheeks. It looks like they are part of the preset heads mod you used, but they don't show up for me. Is there another mod I need for that?
Hi Jerry, I just checked and you're right! Those spots disappeared from my tav after I updated the mod to the most recent version. Is not another mod, those spots were part of the head preset. Keep in mind that New Character Creation Presets WIP, as the name indicates, is still a work in progress, and the author frequently modifies existing presets.
I prefer the older version and some people already asked for them back in 'Posts' section on the mod page, but the author responded yesterday stating that he/she won't add them back. The good news is that you can get them if you install an older version of the mod (if you don't need the new faces). I think I was using v1.2 when I recorded this video.
Can you to a tutorial for the CovenElf's Tattoo and Makeup Collection with the make up please? I cant figure out how to do it
Sorry, I didn't get the notification for this comment. 'CovenElf's Tattoo and Makeup Collection' is super easy to install. Extract the file and you'll get a folder named 'Generated'. Right click on the Baldur's Gate 3 icon, Open file location. You'll be in 'Baldur's Gate 3\bin'. Just go to 'Baldur's Gate 3\Data' and paste the 'Generated' folder there.
Don't worry, you don't need to overwrite anything. That's designed for mods, it won't change core files. If you get bored of the changes, delete the files and everything will come back to normal.
Where do I find the pink clothes you're wearing in the nautiloid? I didn't find them in the Basket full of Equipment. Also thanks for the great video! It looks so awesome it inspired me to use mods too.
Hey Leda, it is 'Skimpy Death Cultist Attire 1A'. If you don't find it you can use the search bar. You just need to combine it with 'Pale Pink Dye' (inside the Dye Vase). I hope it helps!

I am having an issue where the face isn't moving along with the body, hair and horns, in game and in character creation.
Most cosmetic mods usually have problems with some resolutions and video configurations. The first thing to try is setting animation level of detail to 'High'. I've never had any problem with any mod in BG3 and I'm using +50 simultaneously. Try to play with your graphic settings.

Yes. Some people asked for them back on the mod's page and the author already confirmed that they won't be introduced anymore. I checked my files. I was using v1.3 when I recorded this video, so you can get those spots/scales back with that version. I hope it helps!

Toarie is angry because some people have been stealing her mods to create their own and reuploading them on other websites. She has been dismissive with users suggestions for a while, but I continue to see people asking for them back in the mod's page 'Posts'. I think we could get the option back at some point.

Hey after selecing the Character Creation Preset, my character's hair and horn seems to just be not in sync with my model. (It seems my model is idle but my hair and horn is moving) Any solutions?

Hi Chara, LOD (Level of Detail) set on high is a hard requirement for 90% of head mods and many other cosmetic ones. Try it on video settings and report back. You'll see it will be fixed.

Hi Poky, it's safe to do so. Cosmetic mods rarely create problems, to be extra safe make sure that your friends install the same mods in the same order than you.
In this channel I've uploaded several character tutorials from The Witcher. I'm currently playing a multi run with Geralt, Ciri, Triss and Yennefer and have had 0 bugs having +80 mods installed. I hope it helps!

I'm glad you figured it out! If you like CovenElf's Tattoo and Makeup, I recommend you trying Makeup and Tattoo Edits. Both have good eye makeup edits, but the latter has the better blush I've found yet. It's the 1st tattoo option: www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1146
I have another dum b question, not sure where else to ask. Did you get the new patch 5 epilogue to work with mods?
All the mods I've introduced in this video are cosmetic and up to date, so you won't have troubles with them. The problem is Mod Fixer haven't been updated in +4 months and many people are having bugs using it after patch 5. As you now, Mod Fixer is needed for 90% of BG3 mods. In this same video there's a discussion where I provide some solutions for this.
Short answer: I'm still playing with patch 3 with zero bugs (100% achievements). You either downgrade you game to patch 3, download a patch 3 'free' version and use mods with it or wait until Mod Fixer is updated. There are some other solutions in its 'Posts' tab (Nexus Mods), but I haven't tried any. I can't provide specific solutions for patch 5 because I paused updates when I started using mods.

Check 'Requirements' in the mod page. Most of these mods require Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Fixer and ImprovedUI ReleaseReady. Don't use Vortex or any other external mod manager, BG3ModManager works like a charm and it is super easy to use.

Hi Geon, It's a head from 'Vemperen's Other Heads', a mod that is no longer supported by its creator and was deleted. I recommend you 'Vemperen's Other Heads Repaired', a rework with added presets based on that mod. For those eyes you need 'Eyes of the Beholder' too.

Hey Kenny, I think so. I record these tutorials in 4K with ultra settings (DLSS on to prevent dropping below 60FPS on close-ups).
The difference with 1080p is major in this game. That being said, there's a mod for HD Hair and Beards that many people enjoy: www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/3496

Thanks! For me is working perfectly fine, what version are you playing with? Make sure you install Patches for CC Mods to improve compatibility. Have you tried other makeup mods and they work fine?

Hi Mikko, I have it on Steam and my achievements worked fine, but I got most of them before installing mods. Now I have 100%, so I can't check. You shouldn't have problems if you only use cosmetic mods. That being said, the good news is that you have 'Achievement Enabler' in Nexus Mods. With that mod your achievements will work fine no matter the mods you've installed.
How does she have the githyanki skin?? I have the ears, but not the spots! 😊
Hey, New Character Creation Presets is still a work in progress and the author frequently modifies existing presets. Some people asked for them back on the mod's page and Toarie already confirmed that they won't be introduced anymore. @@signd6298 No haha, you only need the first 5 and the 2 "control mods" for this character. I upload 2 new tutorials every week, that's why I use so many mods. I stopped updating the list because I have +120 mods currently active. You only need to download the mods you're going to use.

Hi Blue. It is Basket Full of Equipment. It's the one I use in all my videos to put outfits together. It includes many dyes for you to play with colors like I did.
mod fixer still works after patch 5?
Hi Emma. As a rule of thumb, I pause updates on Steam as soon as I start using mods. Not doing so is the perfect recipe for corrupting pre-update savefiles. So I'm still running on Patch 3 and will continue to do so until all mods are up to date.
I checked on Nexus Mods, and Mod Fixer haven't been updated in 4 months. Reading the forum, some people are having bugs using it after patch 5. There are fixes, but I would test them in a NEW savefile. Don't risk your precious data.

I have a little 'trick' for that. If you install a 'free' version of the game you can still have your main savefiles stored in Steam Cloud to play without mods and a Patch 3 version of the game installed in a custom route for you to play with mods.
I did that with Fallout 4 last summer and it went great. Fit Girl Repacks has an official website '.site', but I haven't tested BG3. The safest 100% bulletproof way to do it is making a manual copy of your savefiles, uninstalling the game on Steam and installing a 'free' version until mod creators update their files.
If you don't like this, search "How to Downgrade Steam Games" in Google. I've sucesfully done it with software purchased on Steam, but never tried with games.

I can't get the character presets mod to work. Whenever I click on the preset the hair just starts glitching out.
Check 'Requirements' on each mod page. Do you have 'Mod Fixer' and 'ImprovedUI ReleaseReady'?
If you're running the last version, the author recommended yesterday to install Script Extender. It's becoming the new standard as 'Mod Fixer' hasn't been updated in almost 5 months.
It's not a pak file, you need to download it from GitHub: github.com/Norbyte/bg3se/releases
It's super simple, just extract the 'DWrite.dll' file and put it inside 'Baldurs Gate 3\bin'. You may need to restart BG3 a couple of times before BG3 Mod Manager detects it, but it works exactly the same as Mod Fixer. I have both installed at the moment and they don't conflict with each other.

Hey, don't worry. Mods are completely safe and cosmetic ones don't even change core files, so your save files won't get corrupted using them. I have +170 currently installed and never had a problem (I got 100% completion on Steam).
When you start to install mods, if you have any doubt leave a comment in any of my videos and I'll help you figure it out. It's better if you do it in any of my most recent ones so I get the notification on my phone.

Why? I've been playing it for almost 3 years in early access and several hundred of hours since the final release. By now I have a deep understanding of its mechanics and can see its (multiple) limitations. That being said, it's the GTA V of RPGs. It sets a new golden standard that the genre needed.
Turn based and story driven RPGs are more niche than ever. Most studios specialized in this genre have gone bankrupt or were acquired by bigger studios. Even if you don't like it or think is overhyped, I believe it's good news for RPG fans.
@@OnlyGuides I don’t think it’s bad or overhyped, just super generic and gives bad expectations for other for other rpgs (Like ffs I see so many people complaining about Rogue Trader that there’s not enough romance options, or that characters don’t do a 180 in their character arc)
And is it really a good thing for the genre? Like, again, Rogue trader released with absolutely no fanfare nor any kind of hype besides massive rpg fans already.
Again, BG3 doesn’t have to revive the crpg genre alone and I’m not expecting it to do. But to say that it’s “good news” when it changed very little is dishonest.
Oh, I see your point now. I started Rogue Trader last weekend and I'm loving every second of it. But it's true that it lacks the 'mainstream factor', meaning it's not as accesible for the main public. UnderRail is another great example: an indie game were both combat and character building have faaar more depth than BG3s but it's not new-player-friendly.
That's what I meant with the good news. When was the last time a 'classic' turn based RPG went universally acclaimed with mainstream success? Dragon Age: Origins almost 15 years ago?
When you say RPG nowadays people think about Skyrim or Fallout. BG3 being GOTY opens the door for so many players that didn't even consider this genre until now. That's my point but I don't necessarily disagree with you.
