He scored 97 points in the WHL as a 15/16 year old my man. He’s playing against guys who are two years older than him in this tournament. He’s still young and has two more years of junior before he’s even draft eligible. He’s special, of course he’s not perfect, he’s not even CLOSE to done developing
I’m disappointed that he uses such a short stick. It limits his ability away from the puck (both defensively and offensively). Makes him only useful with the puck. He reminds me a lot of Trevor Zegras. And that is not a good thing. I don’t see this guy as a cup winner. King Bedsy is small as well but he’s a sniper so he will get his looks and get his goals that will lead to wins. This guy has amazing skill but he needs to be dangling and beating guys to show well. We’ll see how he develops. Maybe he can grab the wing and be the next patty Kane though we’ll see. But he needs a bigger blade and a longer stick. He also reminds me of a more skilled Andre burakovsky. We’ll see though hopefully he can develop right and change some things

I don’t think he’s overrated at all. He creates a ton of goal scoring opportunities seems like he just needs to work on his finishing abilities.

There's lot of very skilled players that are great like Matthews Kane and Thompson who use very short sticks
