Fuck yeah, love me some Nature's Temper. You're actually the one to get me into creepypastas. A few years ago I found your "I'm a marine and I've seen some weird shit" videos and I've been hooked ever since. Thank you for all the hard work you put into these.

    Question for the author.
    Spoiler Comment:
If he killed him in the hospital then why would he be depressed and want to change this memory if all he changed was to kill him sooner?

Been away a bit, haven't been able to listen. That voice you were using for the John character, is that new? I can't recall ever hearing you do that scratchy, weathered voice before, it's a winner in my book .

Normally I like all the stories you read, even the really messed up ones like With but a whimper or maybe whisper, but this one really irritated me. Guess that's the point. Great job as always

Caring about people doesn't make you weak. It takes strength to be capable of that. Not caring about others is a weakness in my opinion.

Sorry, this turned into a wall of text [TL;DR: this story is most unsettling and makes no sense to me], but for personal reasons, this really hit a nerve.
I honestly wish I had not listened to this story. It's very well written, I like the pace, it kept me fascinated and interested and made me wanted to hear the end. Alas, I wish I hadn't. Sure, one can expect stories that one might not like, that are somewhat mean and not happy, that's the nature of this kind of stories. But this one, I don't know, it makes me feel really, really bad.
Maybe this is because this hits very close to home. I am an Aspergers, I often was the 'strange kid' back in the day and victim of some sometimes extremely cruel mobbing by some people. And as many people who fell victim to such things when they were kids will tell you, the damage this did sticks with me to this very day.
See, and this is whatI did not get about this story. [Huge spoiler ahead!]
As I had to learn and to understand, most bullies are absolutely content with themselfes and with their despicable actions. I have occasionally met one or two of my former tormenters and not _one_ of them had a guilty conscience, ever felt even a hint of remorse or even lost a night of sleep over the pain he or she caused. So what I don't get is - what is the bloody point of this story and what was the motivation of the protagonist?
See, when we meet him, we learn that he is in some serious internal struggle. The story soon hints that the reasons for that lie in the protagonists past. Then the story is teaching us, something that _he_ did as a kid is the reason for his struggle, so the audience will expect a making of atonements, a rectified past and some form of deliverance and peace for the protagonist.
What we then actually _get_ is the protagonist murdering the very person that seemed to be the reason for his own struggle. But as we learn, the actual reason for his struggle was not that he drove this kid/young man into suicide, oh no no nooo, the only regret he has is that he did not murder him as a kid in the first place. And this is where the story completely derails - what is the point? Seriously? The story very successfully creates the impression that the protagonist really struggled with his victim's suicide attempt and his subsequent death later on.
So, _all_ the protagonists massive struggle, his alcoholism and his lack of footing in life did _not_ come from the fact that he felt responsible for this suicide, but that he did not murder this kid when he was still a child himself? But... why? As already stated, real bullies _do not care_ about their victims. I had to learn that if my former tormenters would have felt _anything_ in case I'd offed myself, it would have been amusement. Oh look, that week freak finally offed himself, told you he could not hack it, hehe!
I mean, he even killed his victim eventually, not out of mercy, mind you, but because this asshole and his god complex still made him feel disgusted by his weakness. And the only reason his life went downhill is the thought that... he did not kill that young men when they were still kids? I mean, that is truly a 'WFT ! ?' ending, but not in the way the author apparently aimed for.
Still kudos to the author for his writing skills and, as usual, for the deliverance, but seriously man, this is the most f*ed up in more than one way creepypasta I have heard in a very long time. And in case you've actually beared with me for so long, thanks for your patience! :)

@@userunfriendly9304 Yeah, but this is more the equivalent of getting electrocuted after banging, I don't know, two bananas together and not after licking a battery. _That_ I would expect.
