I play this game pretty often and since the update with this map I get traitor rather often, including a few times in a row. Watching this stream makes me wonder if the host is more likely to be thrall since I’m usually hosting, too.
Dave’s impression of a priest was great but I’m genuinely impressed he actually knew that phrase in Latin and the correct grammar for it. Like is Dave Catholic or something?

you know i was thinking that the characters metabolizing like jet engines and freezing so quickly was an annoyance that should be tweaked but then i realized that it helps make sure the traitors can't just ditch the boat and run around throwing every piece of coal into the ocean and they have to at least attempt blending in with the crew.
The spyglass has an actual useful function; when zoomed in on an individual you can listen to their conversations. Ironically the spyglass allows you to spy. >_>
I have it set to play at 0.5 speed and it just sounds like everyone is either EXTREMELY drunk or hasn't slept in several days and it's the funniest shit 🤣
I love the mindgames in this because of the fact that you cannot just kill them off when they're alone. It's interesting to hear Tomato's thoughts as he lies to Bed and Lawman. It's easier and harder to do that with people you've known for years. But yeah, that thrall RNG is pretty BS. 5-6 times in a row...? It's not technically impossible, but it's ridiculous chances. It's a bummer because it's fascinating to see the new changes as this game grows, and it's pretty good! That's just the biggest gripe. The anonymous opt out option is a good idea. I wish that was in more traitor games, as long as it's anonymous.

I could be wrong, but mathematically if Tomato was truly getting traitor randomly, the odds of him getting the 5 rounds in a row would be 0.098%, so I suspect the game was glitching
Probability is deceptive, correctly PREDICTING any combination of 5 traitor/not traitor rolls is equally likely as long as you are making that prediction before ANY rolls are made. Each individual roll has the same probability and does not increase based off of the last roll.

When judging consecutive probabilities, even in hindsight, you judge based on the whole and it becomes less and less likely. Also, I was wrong, it was 0.00097%, even worse. Basically, only taking each individually would be a silly way to view it, since this is all as proof of how radically unlikely if would be for this to occur naturally, thus making it seem more likely that the game was malfunctioning.
People arguing against an anonymous opt-out better win some gold in the Olympics for their mental gymnastics. There's nothing forcing people to tell if they've opted out or not, likewise there's nothing stopping people from lying about opting out (though bringing it up at all in game is a bit too meta for my tastes). It's either that, or a major revamping of the method that the Thralls are chosen, because Tomato getting picked THAT many times is nigh impossible.
