Could have propped the sway bar up with the jack while using both hands to get the bolts started. But I know the feeling of not wanting to crawl back out just to get the jack 🙂
Took it on a more technical road this past weekend and wow. There were some corners that usually kick my rear end loose, but now it hooks into the roads
For the 3rd gen that already have a stock rear sway. This is an add on right? Not a replacement? Meaning I don't have to remove the old one, the progressive one stacks on it?
@@ranchofitge8 yeah I went searching and apparently it is built in and you can just and the progressive just adds over it or so. No removing necessary.
Hey man I've been looking for a rear sway bar for my 09 accent but can't seem to find one! Can you do me a solid and measure from the bolthole on one side to the other for all three? This would be a huge help!
@@ranchofitge8 will do. I figure the extra contact patch plus the 195/60/15tires i have should help lock down the rear in the event the trailer sways or jumps....i hope.
I appreciate your video. I do not realize I was installing an upside down until I saw your video. Cutting the rubber was a good idea.
That looks like an improvement in handling.
always thought you had to remove springs and shocks to access these bolt holes very informative video thank you
Thankfully one doesn't have to
Just bought a 2013 GE8 I look forward to seeing more content from you dude.
Thanks man! Been super busy with life, so I haven't able to make content. But! I have something good coming soon.
Great video , meaby you could link where you buy the stuff

That's a good idea!! Yeah I'm getting tired of my jack haha
instructions say to remove springs but i guess we don't need to? Nice!
Yes it does. But in reality you do not have to.
damn looks like it handles well 👍🏻, now thinking I should get one too 😂

Hi, love the video.
Just wondering, where did you place the lifting jack for the rear, the torsion beam?
I used my muscles in all honesty
Thanks for the video. Did you have to remove the stock sway bar?
Stock sway bar?
The GE8 does not have a rear sway bar.
What other mods do you have on your suspension?
Coilovers, extended ball joints, poly bushings, sway bar, strut bar
@@ranchofitge8 interested which ball joint and polybushings you have. Thanks in advance
@@jamesdeguzman9335 buddyclub extended ball joints, super pro and siberian bushings
@@ranchofitge8 thanks for the info
Thanks for the video. Where is the rear 'hard point' located so you can use that floor jack in the center - rear of the car?
right under the trunk. it sticks out, you cannot miss it.
@@ranchofitge8 Sweet! Just ordered a progress rsb, thanks again for the vid!
@@devjaxvid oh awesome! Enjoy the cornering speeds :)

Are you sure it comes stock with a rsb?

My 09 fit sport makes a crunching noise when going over bumps. I have changed the schools already. What else could it be?

I’m having the same issue, did you ever found out what it was?

Hey man, where do you order this parts? Great video btw!
I ordered directly from their website
I’m debating getting this for my 2010 Fit, would you recommend it now that you’ve had it for a while? Looks like you really stick in those corners!
If you ask anyone who has it, they'd tell you to get it asap. But yesss 110% get it . Its a no Brainerd
I have one too, get it. Changes the whole dynamic. I just installed coilovers with it and this is a gokart now.
Im thinking of getting one...
Also thinking of towing my boat lol
Send me video if you end up getting one and tow your boat

Im surprised at how quiet your fit is. The engine compartment of my fit is so loud. I’m guessing you have a manual and maybe it’s my CVT.
Not sure 😕
I'm here from ig
Thanks brotha!! The sway bar is a car transformer. Got a lot more coming.. catback exhaust by the end of the month
