Well I did it, I changed it to a Heavy Metal one.
This feels so _godly._ The intro feels angelic, before going full battle mode, like the wrath of all justice is being brought upon you in this one battle.
I see you in every Undertale or Deltarune related comment section.

Holy hell, I never quite found a perfect Battle Against a True Hero remix until now. It's my favorite song from the game, so I was waiting for someone to come up with a good one that conveyed serious emotion, yet the tensity of the battle at the same time. Since it's, what, 4, 5 years after the game at this point, I assumed the internet was done with remixes, so I just kinda accepted I'd never be able to find one. One did compete, but was a bit repetitive. This, however, just took the cake in all regards. It showed every emotion I wanted to hear and had my adrenaline pumping the whole time. PHENOMENAL remix!

I have to point out
the orchestral arrangement of "Battle Against a True Hero" done by user 西坂恭平 though. That one is excellent in its own right as well.
its always been my favorite remix. Undyne was the true hero of the underground, she even gave you the real fight. Taking hits, you taking hits, and she fought till the end. Sans just told you about timelines and stuff, didn't give you the real fight and kept cheezing his stats, including dodging.
Winter of 2015 I remember looking up a guide for this fight because it was so hard I thought there was a gimmick I was missing. There was only one result: git gud

This is absolutely my favourite song in the soundtrack. Just the heroic presence behind the sound is what makes it. I especially like how it was orchestrated. The horns blowing make it absolutely GNARLY too.

Tristan Bower no it isn’t, look it up.
In my mind, there's a timeline where after you beat Undyne the Undying normally, she doesn't die. Instead, she just becomes UNBELIEVABLY powerful and straight up gets Asriel's stats. Then, you are forced to fight her for all eternity, never getting past her unless you reset and do a pacifist route. And if you try to do another Genocide, the same thing will happen. A hero must do what they must for the sake of their people, even if it means to fight the devil themself for all eternity. This piece delivers that message perfectly, as well as perfectly conveying the epic and dramatic feel of the fight. Incredible job as always, Jumper of the Clouds.
Is she also going to try to multitask defending all the other monsters at once so you can't take the battle places and farm EXP?

This is such a great theme for a hero tapping into her sheer willpower to stand against an unstoppable monster. The only twist is that the unstoppable monster is you.

Your remixes are actually insane. i’m inspiring to make intense orchestral covers like this as i’m getting into game developing and my music style for games is orchestral, i really like the french horn as a melody lol. anyways, i was wondering what software you use to make these remixes? i’ve been looking around but i don’t know which one to get and for hundreds of dollars, i really don’t want to buy the wrong one haha
also i absolutely love battle against a true hero. i cant believe i didn’t find this sooner it’s the craziest remix i’ve heard for sure. i love all your other stuff too especially nightmare/finale and the techno mixed with orchestral feel of megalovania!
Thank you for the kind words! The DAW I use is Studio One and for all the instruments i use Kontakt paired with all kinds of different sample libraries, too many to include in a comments haha!
Sweet, thank you so much! I was going to get logic, but i’m a windows user so, haha. I’ll do some more research before making that type of decision, but i rly inspire to make heavy orchestral covers/OC songs in the future and, hearing what you’re doing kinda is massive inspiration and, i’ll most likely be getting that software then.
Lastly i wanted to say really thank you for the fast reply, it helped me a lot!
Oh, actually, one last thing! Would you say studio one is good for beginners? I have a lot of experience making my own songs, bass lines and melodies on piano (midi), which i am very fluent at, but i have no actual experience in using a DAW at all
