V2: The Correct Way to remove this Timing Tensioner! Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4L

Would i have to take the belt all the way off just to change the water pump?

The timing tensioner in front on the water pump, must remove the timing belt and tensioner before the water pump

After taking the timing tensioner that belt gonna be hanging loose anyways, just take it out so that its not on the way in front of you
