The problem is that Kyo as Valir has a bit of draw back when playing as Valir. People are giving off Alucard as Kyo but it's actually changing too much unlike Karina as Leona.
I still remember how a lot of people attacked me for saying valir as kyo would not be a great fit (that was back in 2020-2021? Not sure but that was a long time ago) and now they're complaining about valir as kyo like didn't yall want that lmao
Here is why I think Kyo and Alucard would fit him very well. His passive would be when he does his Shiki Aragami/Dokugami, which sounds really cool. With his Skill one, he will run towards the designated location and execute a Shiki Kototsuki You which makes an explosive pillar around the attack. His skill 2 however is pretty much going to be his Shiki Oniyaki. His last Ultimate skill would be his one and only signature move called Shiki Orochinagi (the one where Valir does his skill 2). And that's how I'd personally think that Alucard being as the skin of Kyo Kusanagi is slightly better and accurate skin for the third KOF collaboration
umm no?, i main Ling and Fanny, there's no way Ling or Fanny will get any koF skin so it's not about my main not getting the skin, it's because i played KoF since KoF '94 and they did my main there(Kyo) dirty here.

I have the Kyo Valir skin so I just want to drop my 2cents. I wasn't planning on getting this Kyo skin but I don't have any regrets spending on this KOF event. It's kind of overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. For the pros after using it in many games, I can say it definitely feels a lot different than using typical Valir Skins. Yes it's still red fire based, but it really is the Sound Effects and the vibrant, retro fire effects that elevates this skin. So if you play without sounds, definitely the worst Valir skin to get. Onto the underwhelming part, he often feels boring to use during quiet periods of the game (ie. farming, waiting) because there's not much effect and movement on the model - such as Valir Collector and Legend where his costume are in constant motion. I was debating on spending my 3rd Magic Crystal for Valir Legend or others, but since I got this Kyo Skin, I just spent it on another Legend skin. No regrets. I watched a lot of live plays with Valir Legend, Valir Collector and Kyo Skin - and Kyo felt like the more fun choice. In the future, I'll spend my 4th Magic Crystal for Valir Legend but only if it gets a revamp. So going back, this Kyo skin is ONLY worth it if you play with SFX and voicelines on loud volume. If not, just skip it and get Valir Legend or Valir Leo Ikki 🔥

i use Valir. But i dont think it's worth it. All of his skins are red colored. The special is the only one that feel special 😂 i want different! Make it green, give it black, what about pink? Or even Magenta could work
