I understand the Gaga claiming Madonna's support, but a chord progression? Really? A lot of songs use that same progression. Not too mention almost all 50s rock songs (as an example) use even the exact same chords. That's not enough to warrant a claim of "stealing" a song.

I love mashups of the two songs, but from a music theory standpoint, they're not the same. Different keys, chord progression, tempo. They're just not the same. The allegations of her stealing it just aren't true. I don't think lying about M's support was the way to go about it, though.

The reason this was done, was not being spiteful to twanky gaga, it was done because gaga claimed that shew had been given permission to use a sample of "Express Yourself" which was denied, gaga,released the song, Madonna was pissed, so she done this to say, the song is a rip off and Gaga is a poor rent version who uses as much as Madonnas work as Madonna does
