- A little demonstration using Bailey's new EC-1000T/CTM and Viper 1000. Both guitars running into my modded Marshall JMP. No pedals (not even a noise gate)

The EC-1000T Has Dimarzio 30th Anniversary PAF pickups, and the Viper has a Duncan JB/59' combo, both of these pickup sets are amazing i own both of them, the dimarzio PAF is not quite as hot but it has more bass to them than the Duncans, pinch harmonics are a little more difficult with the PAF's, but high enough gain can help with that if thats what you're actually going for, but they have a bit clearer definition but regardless, both are fantastic pickups, not to mention ESPs and LTD's kick so much ass. thanks josh, great video as always. \m/

CTM is not Custom, is Cut Traditional Model, that's why the CTM version is 22frets instead 24 frets as other EC models
Hey man, there isnt a chance at all you would be releasing a tab book or Guitar Pro tabs of Dormant heart? I would love to be able to learn the songs you havent gone over correctly.

I think I'll pick one of these someday. But with 24 frets and an Evertune bridge instead.
I'm curious about the Evertune. I want to get at least one guitar this year that has one. I don't like using trems and this seems like a great way to really stay in tune.

I've got an old Viper I've had for years. Fun guitars, cool shape. I really need to make a pickguard for mine though, it's always felt a bit naked without one.

Hi Josh, how do you find LTD models stack up against their ESP companions?
I've got the EC1000T , EC1000 and an ESP Eclipse II. I like the ESP best, which might seemobviosly as its twice the price, but it's just slightly better. LTD 1000-series are some really great quality guitars.They sound great, they play great and are in an affordable price range. Keep in mind that the EC1000 Deluxe is simular to the Eclipse II, but the EC1000T is far more simular to my Gibson LP Classic in style and sound.
you should have got bailey to do a demo of his new guitars! It would be great to see the rest of the band doing videos some time

I have a lower model viper and it neck dives like crazy, so uncomfortable to play even sitting down, wondering if the higher models do the same?
MrRyyannn You've got to move the strap button to the upper horn. Makes all the difference.
I'm having trouble intonating my EC-1000T to be in drop C, especially with the low C. Is there any intonation issues with your guitar? Any tips if you managed to get it right? Thanks.
MitchRench when you drop the string tension to C you raise the action in doing so, so you should tighten the truss rod about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn to bring it back down to the correct height and also if you've gone up in string gauge for the lower tuning, the stock nut is cut for 10-46's so if you want perfect intonation you're going to have to get the nut slots filed to the spec of whatever string gauge you went up to, after all that adjust the bridge intonation screws and you should be spot on.
Buy Digitech Drop tune pedal and your problem would be solved
I never played a Viper... I have an Eclipse and a EX, playing wise, is the Viper closer to the EX or EC? I find somewhat easier to riff on the higher frets on the EX than the EC...
What tunning you are using here?
