Just because your low body fat doesn't mean most of your muscle is legs. Your probably have too much arm muscle. In reality athletes of any sport(other than football) should only do body weight training for arms and weight training for legs. Arm muscle increases the force produced by arm swing, but eventually your arms are just weighing you down

11 months late, but: Keep ankle and foot dorsiflexed (toes up, you wanna punch with your "fist" not your fingertips) while jumping with the balls of your feet) Pogo hops 3x10 reps (jump as high as you can with your legs at shoulder width, when you come back down, try to jump again as fast as you can. Do 3x a week, not more not less to avoid risk of injury) Punch pad taps 3x10 Basically throwing your feet forward and moving forward but not using your toes (With a friend) do 3x10 reps of throwing the ball at each other's stomach to simulate core contraction Jump near a wall, take 2 steps back, then move back as you get comfortable Arm swings against a wall so you use minimal space (10 reps on both arms) (don't flex arms sideways) Bounds: 3x full court lenght, arms swinging, jump on one leg. Switch legs, then jump with both legs. (KEEP TOES UP UNLESS YOU WANT THEM BROKEN.) Gravity jumps: jump up from bench, 1 set alternative leg landing, 1 set same leg landing, 1 set 2 feet landing. These are just my own notes that I collected. I'm doing this workout every day and it helps, but it takes a lot of time. Don't expect to jump higher after a week of training. Don't expect them after 2. You need time to grow your muscles and that way you increase your jump. Burpees are also common, although you have to do them inside because outside your arms will be torn away. Hope this helps! Keep on grinding!

John Wenn Macaldo well he said if you have high body fat percentage and Zion probably has around 9-10% body fat which is amazing andhas a ton of muscle and is super tall. He also probably has some genetics mixed in to help him out. Idk what kind of training he did to jump high or if he ever did any.

U can keep your speed if you build muscle the right way
it's easy actually. As long as you keep moving the same way you're moving while getting stronger you won't lose speed

I got shins splint so it’s a no for me, i even had to stop visiting the gym/court for a week or more.
