I'm fresher from nit t . Acc to me the new hostels like garnet A andB are pretty good . Also unlike popular belief the temperature at night goes pretty low like 25 to 26 which is quite comfortable.
Ofc it doesn't looks good at first sight , but u will adjust urself pretty much quickly.
Also messfood is decent.

Hey bro don't spit shit he is first year aap kya chahte ho ki aapko king room mile first year me at least fourth year milte hai ache aur single rooms apko pura aalishan kmra nhi diya Jaa skta understand you are hostel not in your home aur inhi conditions me apne comfort zone se bahr aane me help hoti hai iss start se hi aap koi bhi condition me survive krr skte generally apne suna hoga ki graduated bcha hmesha khi bhi kaise bhi situation ho usko handle krr leta hai aur uss situation me adjust ho jaata hai aur usko agr koi bekaar se room me rehne ke liye bole to vo ache se rehta hai vo isiliye kyunki vo inn conditions ko survive Krna Sikh Chuka hota hai

The hostel is not that much good bathrooms are well and good don't expect too much and I eat the food in the kailash mess the most of the food's taste was soo good only few to be below avg.
