So proud of our bronx! They played like absolute dogshit last week, trying to force fancy plays in every early tackle count but tonight they kept it in their pants in the first half and waited for the opportunities to open up organically and allow their instincts to take over when they did. In the second half they reaped the rewards of the pressure that resulted from their measured performance and really unleashed their magic. You could also see them working relentlessly to restrict late passes every time they tackled a Parra player, knowing that late offloads are their x factor. Srsly love this stripped back team where they all look a bit on edge but lift to keep it together.
@55.30 you see the hair pull on Broncos #15, with it being ignored, by commentators and the ref. And at the 60min mark, the forward pass was to an off-side player. Gus sounds like the Parra coach, along with a very Sydney centric bias by the rest. At 74.15 there is a decision on review that raises questions too, when a man is too far away to be wrapping up the tackle while he steals the ball, mmm. Again, oh well, one thing the Bronco's fan is used too, is *unlucky* decisions, every game, every year.
