they changed toga for her gamma and made all times equal, better than level 1 but not as good as level 9

@@PoptartmellenNah, give me that luck. I roled 700 times and got nothing but costumes that weren't even rate up
4:58 they buffed lida somewhat by increasing recovery time on hits, both when broken and shielded. You can no longer get out of a combo by mashing, meaning even average lidas now will always hit full combos. Honestly, with his combo buff and gamma buff, that 50 hp damage reduction doesn't mean squat now 😂

The 50hp nerf is still unwarranted for a char that cannot attack at any range but melee, he doesn't have the damage of ochaco nor her range, and he doesn't have the same mobility nor a res as good as tsuyu, 300 was just right for him

You've got a talent for communicating what it is you're doing. When you were chasing that Bakugo in the first match, I could feel it like I was chasing him and wanted to kill him. Good stuff, I personally want to learn how to talk like that and communicate better to an audience, not shy or anything. It's just a skill you have that I want to practice, and you do it well!

I've been enjoying the new Deku so much. Also I suggest using the new show total damage display setting so its easier to see the alpha damage count. Great video as always!

Even if i still dont try to pull this deku i watched some videos of him and i think is really a good characters. As you Demon i love that you can combo the gamma with the beta also with more area cover, i also like a lot the alpha but if i will get him i probably will lv up the gamma to 4 and after that beta to 9 because i love this area moves such as kirishima's shockwave. Super video Demon❤

@@CharismaticDemon_ Yeah Demon i'm trying to get 2000 tickets for get kirishima with pitytimer so i have to stay calm and focus for that 😂 because one time i try to pull 1000 ticket to get kirishima, because i tried him and i immediatly felt in love with him also because is the character i love in the show (with denk and shoto), and i didnt pull him so from that moment i'm trying to reach 2000 ticket for the pity😂 now i'm nearly to 1600 so i'm near to get my main kirishima and after that i will try on deku new banner❤

They shadow buffed dabi's special action aswell, it damages you even while your inside it now
Yeah him and compress got shadow buffed / nerfed which is strange. Not sure why they didn’t put it in the patch notes
Next new quirk skills gonna be:
1: Bakugo quirk set Machine Gun, he is turning to a rapid with that set.
2: Shigaraki quirk set Catastrophe, he is turning to a defense with that set.
3: Todoroki quirk set (name unknown yet), turning to a Technique with that set.
4: Dabi quirk set (everything about it is unknown)
Curious what they’ll do with Todo and Dabi
Honestly them adding new abilities to most of the characters will make the game even more fun. Especially since they are slow to release new characters.

If your running in an building or ally way you can use deku’s gamma to seal off the entrance, his gamma is unclimbable too. It’s also a good get off me tool if well timed is able to stop thristy players like an ochaco from swooping in, but it won’t stop iida kick tho so you’ll have to have awareness which moves are armored or roll into gamma. But I think movement and chase denial are the best useages.
Yeah I think I tried doing that to Dabi in the second match (I think) but he got hit through it as I did it 😭
It would be cool to see what Deku's Manchester smash looks like from max hieght. Wonder if it just blows up the whole map.

Also the gamma is good for just proving cover from enemy fire. So it can be defensive.
After playing him for a while, id say i usually get my Alpha to at least 6-7 then go for beta 4 and gamma 4, having 2 charges of both just makes combat much more easier
Yeah he strikes me as a character that doesn’t necessarily need lvl 9 for an ability and can spread the levels out without much drawback
I go for Gamma 4, Beta 9 then start levelling Alpha after I get max Gamma.
i know it’s so small so it’s obvious no one talks about it, but dabi got shadow nerfed this patch with his hp going from 350 to 300 and his special got a shadow buff (as a dabi main i noticed that immediately in my first game of season 3 lmao)

I’ve been having a blast playing this new Deku and even managed to absolutely shatter my own personal best damage with him at 12,000.

When you think about it, getting axe kicked in the head with dekus boots could give you a major concussion, so it makes sense that his heals hit ur hp. Similarly to how ibaras vines peirce and cut you when you get gabbed.
Mans suppose to be a hero who saves but is out here crushing skulls ☠️
There is a damage diff based on height. Jumping from UA building there is even a visual difference before the slam lands.
The slam is also a grab.
Using gamma will launch em (duh) but if you just wait a sec for them to air recover they will be open to a very obvious punish with beta.
The slam is a hard counter to froppy.
You can "hide" your teammates using gamma, area attacks will still hit them but its usefull for ambushes
Yeah I saw the gamma into beta combo he can do tho it seems inconsistent. Even still timing the beta afterwards to catch enemies when the I frames run out is simple enough. Huge tips, thanks Squard!
@CharismaticDemon_ i feel ive gotten the timing down. I go to start the beta as soon as i see them begin air recovery. If i dont see it (i see high end players just letting themselves hit the floor since deku will land before youre forced to get up that way) then i just try for a second well aimed gamma

I’ve been playing him for 2 days now and how i play him is
gamma level 4 > level 4 Beta > level 9 Alpha
Or
Gamma level 4 > Beta level 9 > Alpha level 4
I love having the very little mobility he has, on the original map it means very little in a lot of areas but in the new one it’s helpful being able to get high up quickly, beta at level 4 or 9 just because of the extra charges, and the alpha is already extremely good at level 4, also i would recommend blocking off the opponent from entering with ground impact right here, my only issue is that i’m extremely aggressive and forget i’m supposed to fight in areas i can easily escape in
I’m gonna be honest I haven’t tried him on the old map just been exclusively playing him on the new map on whatever mode it’s available, but I need to use him on there.
@@CharismaticDemon_ on the old map he’s more defenceless compared to the new one, on the new one he’s very dominative due to his ability to quickly reach high areas and blocking off doors, but in the old map he doesn’t have much high places to get to since their higher then his movement allows you to reach.

I don’t know how meta this is but when leveling up FB deku I typically go, beta to 4 then gamma to 4 then max out either beta or alpha. Having that second beta is just so good early game.

I don't have Red Deku, but from what I can see of his gameplay, he kinda plays like a mix of Kendo and Kirishima (AKA short ranged with somewhat limited mobility). Considering how the meta revolves around Bakugo and Todoroki, two characters with good long ranged abilities, I think ppl are just upset that they can't sit on a mountain and chip damage enemies from 100 miles now. Red Deku is more of a rushdown character imo.

Old dekus Beta and Gamma felt like abilities that existed just to support his alpha, and while I think it makes him more palettable for people who play shooters he didn't really embody this games combat. New Deku fixes that I think, as for level ups I go for gamma lv4 then beta level 9, I find it to be consistent once u get 9 because it gives you 3 charges
Yeah thinking back I mainly used old dekus beta as additional movement because how long a cooldown the gamma had. With this Deku his gamma is perfect for maneuvering. Need to give upgrading beta second a go

What's your overall opinion of the new map?
I really like it, but it tough to win on. The final circles are very hectic with a lot of nooks to hide in and get ambushed from. My only gripe is that I think more of the geometry should be destructible. There's a lot of stuff that you can get your feet stuck on and don't get meet started on the awnings.
I like it a lot tho it’s probably new content syndrome. The endings are very chaotic like you said tho and it’s severely lacking in destructibility. To my knowledge only very small structures and the port a potties with civilians can be broken

Before watching this Vid I had the worst Duo's Matches but then have the most insane Duo's match with Shigiraki soloing half of the Lobby cuz my teammates disconnected in the waiting room

As for new deku I'm mixed, I WAY prefer his new beta, and I think I even very much prefer his new gamma since you get 2 charges at level 4, but if blackwhip had the same thing I'd prefer that. One until 9 is just useless though unfortunately. My only problem is I think red deku's alpha is aaaaaaabsolute trash. I almost feel like it's pointless to even use half the time. If the new deku had the old alpha he'd be one of my favorites to play.

@@CharismaticDemon_ Now that we're getting alt color playstyles of other characters do you have one you'd want? I'd personally really love a speed endeavor since his whole training arc with bakugo/deku/todoroki in the show was them trying to keep up with his insane speed just once and how he has complete mastery over his movement... and then for him to have one of in my opinion the weakest movements in this game really disappointed me. Alternatively I'd just love a really powerful strike style compress since I love him but I hate his playstyle completely in this game lol

Yeah I never really played assault Deku too much before but I’ve been playing this Deku almost exclusively I just like him so much
I like him alot i just wish his moves were a bit faster the recovery speed after using his beta is cancer so is the start up for his gamma if they make those slightly faster he'd be great

I think they had yhe wrong move sets when he first came out. He should've had a super jump gor special action, along with downed people. Full cowling 25% or some random number. Shoot style. And then a smash with his fist. I don't like how they used black whip right away

so apparently, deku's Manchester smash, if you land the actual kick with you and your opponent mid-air, you will GRAB THEM MID-AIR WITH YOUR FOOT, AND DRAG THEM DO THE FLOOR, TO SLAM THEM ON THE FLOOR AND ITS FKING AWSOME ( this guy does it in the intro to this video: th-cam.com/video/SZBOJHSsFH4/w-d-xo.html)
