He Gentaro is adorable!! He’s very smart and a very loving son. A footage of Genki’s affection towards his son Gentaro was evident by wrapping her arms around Gentaro and his response was incredible and precious with so much love as he caressed his mother’s arms. It’s a very touching moments for mother and son.
Yes It is a touching moment whenever I see them grooming each other or her checking his son's butt as a mother. I respect mother Genki. In the past it was believed that she wouldn't have a 70 percent chance of pulling through due to the extreme weight loss. Now she has her lovely tow sons. 🦍🌸🍀

I absolutely love Gentaro ♥️. He’s always so curious when any humans are around....Maybe bc he was raised by his zookeepers for most of his first year alive. He has such an expressive face that you can always tell what he’s feeling at certain moments. I hate when he gets pushed away when he tries to be close to the family. He’s got such a quirky personality that makes me laugh so much when I watch him. He has his moments just like human teenagers have their horrible moments but he doesn’t mean anything by it...He’s just adjusting to his new role in the family.

I would love to listen to the "foster" dad talk about his experiences with a really young Gentaro. It almost seems impossible, watching from a human perspective, for him to make up those 10 months he was away from his biological parents. He seems to miss out on the closeness with mom since he did not breastfeed. Hope we will have a window into his life when he has a mate and offspring of his own. He will be a great Silverback and dad!!!
@@pattymelt-go3fv I believe it is a sort of gathering place; the gorillas also like to nap there on the straw. There is a heater under the box providing warmth during the winter months. When Kintaro was small, he and Genki spent lots of time in the box. There are numerous videos showing all gorillas in the box separately or with other family members. Happy gorilla watching to you. 🦍

Thanks for your comment Gentaro and the keeper used to spend each other for ten and a half months. Therefore he is used to humans. Even if you glances at him he never show any displays. For sure zoo keepers never fail to keep a proper distance in between his society as a gorilla and our society. That’s the tipping point to make him come of age as a result.
Gentaro is NOT mean n abusive, hes a child still whod like moms attention BUT moms been overly spoiling kintaro,there a fam n gorillas express this way this fam is super mellow compared to others they don't speak so things are done differently. gentaros actually mellow but got a mischievous side....lovethisfam....
Hi Michelle Momotaro came to the zoo when he was just ten or so. In those days he was too selfish and was sticking his gun in everything. Thanks to his wife genki he learned a lot as a gorilla since he didnt have much opportunities to contact adult gorillas in his life. I want to say thank people who are relevant to Gentaro including zoo keepers. It was too late to make him survive if they hadn't notice about his body condition after a couple of days. The look on Gentaro's face when he was admonished was cute. The eyes and the quivering lip showed that he felt bad for what he had done. He almost looked like he wanted to cry having his keeper upset at him.
Rhonda Gentaro pulled the rope too hard that holds the net by the keepers cage leaving in hanging down where it could be dangerous fur the gorilla family. So that's why the keeper was tying it to the cage door.

When I watched this family every day my heart feel warmth by the sheer pleasure of watching them behaving like humans. Momotaro’s fathering skills is exceptional which put some of human father to shame. He is very gentle and accomodating towards his mischievous sons. He allows them to be playful and rough but, always on standby if things gets out of hand. I love them so much.

I don't understand when people said Genki over spoiled kintaro vs Gentaro. Gentaro have Genki for himself as a mother for more than 4 year and even more because when kintaro born she have to divided her attention between the 2 of them. Lately she doesn't pay to much attention to Gentaro because he is a mature adolescent in gorrilla world. He doesn't behave as wise as he should because the human intervention when he was a baby. But that doesn't mean we have to make Genki accountable for his action. Gentaro is a cute smart big gorilla that want to still acting like a little boy but that won't help him when he has to left the group because eventually that has to happen for the best of all of them. I'm sure if Genki have another baby Kintaro will behave mature that Gentaro. Genki has been nothing that a gentle loving mother for both of them and patient too, but enough is enough.

I understand Genki wasn’t producing milk when Gentero was born but why did he have to be hand raised? Couldn’t he of lived with his family and taken out to be fed or something......or was she rejecting him??
I would imagine you can't just take a baby away from a moma gorilla. You would have to anesthetize her every time he needed to be fed. That doesn't sound very plausible.

The entire gorilla family fall asleep around six or seven. Until six Momotaro and Genki sitll eat something while the two sons play together . There are no fixed bed or something else to sleep. まだ一度も京都市動物園に来られていないのでしたら、来る時期により、ゴリラ家族を観れる時間帯が決まっています。
夏と冬、そして雨。 季節や天候により異なります。
🍀夏なら、9時半から11時半（コロナ感染予防により室内は観れない）
🍀冬なら、9時半から11時か11時半（コロナ感染予防により室内は観れない）
🍀雨なら、雨の量にもよりますが、雨が強く降ると朝から室内に入ってしまうこともあり全く観れない可能性もあります。

コロナの問題がなければ、季節や天候を気にする必要はないですが、今の現状ですと、来年以降もしばらくは室内の観覧は難しいかなと思います。

イタズラを注意されたゲンタロウは、よーくお話を聞いた後、少しつまんなそうな顔をしていた。母ちゃんのゲンキは、キンタロウばっかり可愛がってるみたいで不満なのかも知れない。
でも、ゲンキはゲンタロウへも愛情溢れる立派なお母さんです。
テレビで見ました。黒いポンチョを着て抱っこしてそして長靴を履いておられてママの元気さんにも会いに行き愛情深くそして大切に育てて貰って今のゲンタロウ君がいるのですね。可愛くてそして弟にも優しくてね。小さい頃（きんたろう君が）は抱っこするため必死でしたね。二人とも素晴らしいゴリラ君達で元気にそして二人の子供さんが見れるといいのてすが中々難しいんでしょうね。
この方は、今後、全国のゴリラ担当飼育員の代表のような立ち位置で活動されるそうです。今の園長さんがそう話していました。つまり、ゲンタロウだけでなく、他の若いゴリラ達の未来も。

男性飼育員（名前は知っていますが伏せます）がゲンタロウに、説明している様子が新鮮でした。ゲンタロウも聞いていて、理解してるような。

In kyoto city the maximum tall building is less than 35 meters. Most of structures in the city is 10m or less. The environmental matters surrounded us is priority.

To be frank, on that day the temperature was a bit lower than Meteorological Agency agency had predicted . It seemed that Gentaro wanted to go into an interior room earlier and tried to attract attention for the zoo keepers. What he did is not a good thing but what he felt at that time is not bad.

Shabani es especial, tuvo una familia muy grande muchos hermanos, Momo el único nexo familiar fue momoko y nadie más, lo separaron con solo 10 años. Shabani en un rock star, tiene espacio y comida abundante y variada. 🦍😎

I don't understand when people said Genki over spoiled kintaro vs Gentaro. Gentaro have Genki for himself as a mother for more than 4 year and even more because when kintaro born she have to divided her attention between the 2 of them. Lately she doesn't pay to much attention to Gentaro because he is a mature adolescent in gorrilla world. He doesn't behave as wise as he should because the human intervention when he was a baby. But that doesn't mean we have to make Genki accountable for his action. Gentaro is a cute smart big gorilla that want to still acting like a little boy but that won't help him when he has to left the group because eventually that has to happen for the best of all of them. I'm sure if Genki have another baby Kintaro will behave mature that Gentaro. Genki has been nothing that a gentle loving mother for both of them and patient too, but enough is enough.

I understand Genki wasn’t producing milk when Gentero was born but why did he have to be hand raised?
Couldn’t he of lived with his family and taken out to be fed or something......or was she rejecting him??
I would imagine you can't just take a baby away from a moma gorilla. You would have to anesthetize her every time he needed to be fed. That doesn't sound very plausible.

Yes Genki wasn't producing milk at all. If the situation had lasted more , Gentaro must have died of malnutrition. It was inevitable to separate them as he was all of a sudden in coma two days after his birth . (Hypothermia) Thanks to zoo keepers he was able to survive.

She still got to see him a lot and could touch him. And when the keepers gave him back to her she accepted him because they made sure that they stayed in contact a lot.

I don't think so as far as I know. He might had to do so when his younger brother kintaro was little but now he doesn't have to .
The entire gorilla family fall asleep around six or seven. Until six Momotaro and Genki sitll eat something while the two sons play together . There are no fixed bed or something else to sleep.
They can select spaces for their sleep.

It's one of the attendants who hand reared Gentaro when he was a baby.

That was Gentaro's foster father when he was an infant. He hand reared Gentaro until he was 10 months old as Genki didn't have enough milk. He was smiling and laughing under the mask as he was tapping Gentaro's hand.
