I’ve never read Anne of Green Gables either and have been wanting to get into the series. I think this would be how I start before diving in because of how stunning the artwork looked. I’m glad you are finding books that you are enjoying ☕️
“Thirst” sounds like a really good read. I love gothic narratives with classic monster types. The Argentinean politics angle is intriguing too. “The Guest” is intriguing. I don’t know if it would be relatable to any of your recommendations here but my favorite read this year is Simon Jimenez’s “The Spear Cuts Through Water”, a standalone fantasy that frankly felt epic, meta-textual and Ghibli-like with its dark and fantastic elements. I read it in the summer and it hasn’t left my mind 🍵
Have you read The Rachel Incident? I think, even though I did not personally connect woth Sally Rooneys books, that The Rachel Incident matches the vibes of SR s novels very much
Hi Olivia, Thanks for the Recent Reads! Hope to get my hands on them ASAP!
I really love these updates! And the chapter titles!
Great wrap up 📚☕🎃🍂🥧🍄🍷🍁
Sally Rooney is amazing! Intermezzo is my favorite book by her so far, but I really loved Beautiful World too ❤
They're all so, so good! I barely realized I read all her books this year and now will have to wait who knows how long for another title!
While I'm not a book reader. I find your videos really relaxing and therapeutic 😌
Glad you like them!
@StoriesForCoffee I do. Love hearing you talk x

That’s what I was thinking too and then I might find a nice audiobook rendition of the book to listen to finally!
