Hello Amber: I had the same issue with my YSL Envelope Large Bag a few years ago The stitches popped out on my bag on the back slip pocket. I knew then that bag was just not for me. Long story. I ended up exchanging it. So I can relate. We do not want loose stitches on a bag, especially not at that price. Thanks for honestly sharing your experiences with us.

I just got a black vintage Dior that doesn’t have the flap, handles go all the way down, and is in beautiful condition! The leather is luxurious. I would recommend that route. The process I paid was a fraction of them new.

All bags are different due to the leather picked and sourced at the time of the production. Have you heard before “not all cows are the same”😂well that’s why we sometimes might feel some leathers are softer, bigger grains , more matte, etc etc. so IMHO that has nothing to do with quality going down. I would call quality control to something like issues with chains, or other problems that came at the time of the purchase. Also, I would not compare a vintage bag with a new one as not only the leather is different but other things place important role in the condition of that bag. The weather, the wear and tear and how the person took care of the handbag place a big role in what you see today in the bag. I am OG for chanel and I had 15 year handbags that were in great condition because I constantly cleaned them and conditioned them through out the years, pls I tried to take care of my bags without the panicking effect 😂. That being said, I do agree 💯 with you about the Dior Tote, that’s why when I saw your unboxing I was screaming noooo through the screen 😂 as you and I, are more into top handle with crossbody style bags 😅😊
Don't feel bad about returning your yellow Dior bag! I have done the same thing. I bought a bag from Louis Vuitton and had it a couple of weeks and realized that I wasn't in love with it so I returned it. I felt kind of dumb for buying it in the first place but didn't want to get stuck with a bag that I may not ever use. So you did the right thing. Love your videos🙌☺

I have the same Dior book tote.. in the brown/black colour way.. only use it on holidays but I do love the design! We have very similar taste xxx
