The worst part were bank employees mocked me, called me an overdrafter, threatened me with arrest, bank denied fault even though my handwriting & digit space showed $25.00 & bottom of check clearly showed teller ran it through machine as $125k. They wouldn't reverse the debit on my account. I had to call bank HQ, threatened to sue. They reversed it a month and a half later. Meanwhile we ran behind on our bills, for some already sent bank charged overdraft fee (which they did later refund me...it was a mess. I mow my own lawn since then.

I showed the check to the branch manager and her response was I see it was an encoding error but refused to take any responsibility as the checks supposedly weren't encoded by the bank! I pursued the issue as the overdraft charges where over the $90 difference! The I contacted the bank managers supervisor and finally got the situation resolved. But still had to pay the bad check charges to the places that where affected when the bank refused to process the checks!😢
I served in the Navy in the early 80's and spent two years at sea I knew the guy that ran the ships CCTV the ships captain asked his wife to tape some popular TV for the crew. She recorded her soap operas!😂 We finally got MASH episodes. I never liked MASH.😮 So I spent two years at sea and rarely watched any TV.
During the 70's Zenith decided to put a timeing circuit in the power supply that would eventually close a relay connecting the high voltage supply to the circuit board causing it to self destruct so that they could sell more TV's. They lost their reputation for reliability and long life and now are out of business it's a shame that they made such a bad decision as they were some of the most reliable and advanced TV's at the time!
Steve, Can you legally tranquilize trespassers on your land and detain them as long as you've given them specific verbal warning add sufficient amount of time to vacate the premises ?
I retired from working for a local school district and they decided to ONLY offer Coke Zero in the vending machines at the school. The machines where removed the following year due to poor sales!😮

I don't ever remember going to an ATM, typing in $100 and receiving $10,000 in cash. Funny how those kind of mistakes only work one way!
