I became a Ranger fan back in the 50’s when they sponsored a Junior team in my home town. When I saw Gilbert and Ratelle play as teens, I knew I would be a fan for life. They have won only one Cup in my life, but have had many exciting teams over the years. Regardless of what may happen the remainder of the playoffs, this team has brought my love of the game and this team to the highest it has ever been. From here on, win or lose, they are playing the best hockey ever.

We live in VA so a Ranger road game in NC was a quick drive. We got outstanding seats for the price of MSG nose bleed. Two rows back from the Ranger bench for $300. It was crazy cheap, albeit regular season. One of the ushers came down to us and said that if anyone gives us any trouble we should let him know. In the end the Canes fans were cool. The rink is out in the middle of nowhere that’s why it’s so quiet.

I am VERY surprised by what it was like outside. I visited Raleigh in early March and went to the game vs Jets. There were tons of tailgaters, they had those blow up slides/castles for kids. They were giving out sticks with marshmallows and had a big long area where everyone was roasting them Major failure and miss not having something for the playoffs I liked the stadium. Nice place. (Very surprised at their concession prices! Pricier than I expected for not NY)
Im genuinely surprised that PDQ and Chick Fil A both have concessions there. Thats kinda weird, competition in a stadium is usually not something you see.

Carolina wants a brawl - They don’t want yet another skill power forward against them. Chytil progressed really well on ice especially being out of high game competition let alone playoffs for so long. Surprised you got in - I thought they were trying to “protect” their fans by not being made to feel bad with NYR fans in attendance. NY’rs have a word for that - Same as what Trump says he likes to grab.
