The Dubai International Motor Show is the perfect platform for Bugatti to unveil its latest supercar - the Divo. Named after legendary French racing driver Albert Divo, who won the Targa Florio race twice for Bugatti in the 1920s, the Divo is a track-focused hypercar that has been designed and developed with input from customers who take their driving very seriously indeed.
The Divo is based on the same carbon fibre chassis and drivetrain as the Chiron, but weighs 35kg less thanks to a focus on weight saving during the development process. The bodywork has also been completely redesigned with greater downforce in mind, while still retaining the same level of luxury and refinement that customers have come to expect from a Bugatti.
Inside, the Divo features a bespoke interior with race-inspired seats and a new steering wheel design. The infotainment system has also been updated with new features including a lap timer, g-force meter and launch control.
Bugatti's aim with the Divo was to create a car that was not only more extreme and more focused than the Chiron, but also more exclusive - with just 40 examples set to be built at a price of €5 million each. The Divo is a limited edition supercar, with only 40 units being produced. It's based on the same platform as the Bugatti Chiron, but with a number of significant changes. The most notable difference is the weight reduction of around 110kg, thanks to the use of new carbon fiber body panels.
The result is a car that's even more agile and responsive than the Chiron, and that's saying something. The Divo also gets a new front splitter and rear diffuser, along with larger air intakes and a more aggressive stance.
Inside, there's a racing-inspired interior with plenty of Alcantara and carbon fiber trim. The infotainment system has been upgraded too, with a new 8.0-inch touchscreen display.

The reason why Michelin are the only manufacturers of its tires is because when they first made the Veryon they asked Michelin to make tyres for it. Michelin refused as they said it would be near impossible to make tyres that could cope with its maximum speed. To this Bugatti said that they'll source another tire manufacturer to get tires for all their future cars, resulting in Michelin losing alot of business from their client. To this Michelin agreed to Manufacture a tire that would cope with its top speed but in saying that it would only cope with that speed for limited driving time.

Dubai has one of the best driving roads arguably on earth, + they have a race track, plus bugatti is really reliable in the Arabian heat
