So sorry about the burglary loss - I had the same with southwestern Native American jewelry taken, as well as family mementos, pearls, etc. We heal and grow past it. The treasures come to mind now and then, but there are replacements and the knowledge that we are fortunate that there was no one hurt in the process. . .

I'm sorry your jewelry was stolen. I too lost every piece my dad had made me he was a Navajo Silversmith. I cried for a week straight because dad doesn't make jewelry anymore and I hate that I can't get them back. No I didn't have them insured so it was pure lost. A year ago I manage to find 1 necklace and 1 pair earrings so now I sleep with them on.😔🥺😭😭😭

I've been stolen from too aswell. So I feel you're pain. I have to buy it all back but I had some heirloom pieces that you can't replace. Update. I got my collection back.
I have some heirlooms aswell from my old aunt who is 92 almost 93. I already gave my daughter some pieces and i kept also some. But also have a problems with some kinds of metal. The only metal i cann bare at the moment is 18 karat gold. But my style goes more the italian out of the box jewelry brands. They also have the classic style you like. The Italian brands are Al Coro, Ponte vechio, pesavento. And i have German brand i like to wear called Noën. And i will start soon with a Dutch brand called Bron. That is so much fun with colored Gems and blue diamond. But the jeweler is very strict with me and the jewelry i choose. I cant wear the classic pearls or the oversized jewelry. They consider my style my age my lifestyle and my personality. So it is always a struggle to find pieces that work with my collection. We disagree sometimes. But when we find the pieces i know i enjoy them and wear them with pride and without problems from the allergy. I feel so sorry your jewelry got stolen.

Hi Alexandra, I learnt to pierce my costume earrings through garlic, which has antimicrobial properties, so it does not inflame my earlobes.
