    Thanks for this video, man. I actually work QC for a major beverage company and have never been able to watch the 1st and 2nd op's because our seamers push 1500 cans per minute! It's so simple!

    I feel for some reason that ipas present better in a can. I don't know, if it's because the aroma is focused through that small opening right into your nasal cavity but drinking ipas out of the can for me as a better experience

      @EvertyBrewing  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have been enjoying a lot of IPAs in a can in recent months (heady, Focal Banger, SoS, Julius, etc.) and I have not seen any Ill effects on the beer itself. Its defiantly going to make beer mail a whole lot easier.

  • @saintmoz

    Are you carbing the beer first or are you priming the cans? And how are you filling the cans, counter pressure, low pressure or with a wand?

    • @EvertyBrewing
      @EvertyBrewing  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, I generally force carb in the keg and fill from there using a Beer Gun or the Last Straw. Im trying to build a stationary filler, but that is a ways off yet. However, I am planning some tests carb conditioning in the can. These will actually be going into cans this week then Ill be testing them in about a month. Stay tuned for the results.

    Awesome video. I came here because I am also interested in buying this canner and am debating between hand crank or electric. The price jump is significant. Have you tried using a drill versus hand cranking?

    Would you consider this canner/seamer to stay in adjustment well....or does it need constant "tinkering"

    • @EvertyBrewing
      @EvertyBrewing  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      starshooter1003 ive found that if you are staying the same size cans between batches the tweaking is minimal. If you switch from 16 to 12 or back there is some tweaking. Ill usually do a test can when switching sizes to ensure a proper seal.

    • @starshooter1003
      @starshooter1003 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I think I'll stick with 12 ounce cans for now and see how that works out. My canner will arrive soon, and the vendor on eBay mentioned he uses his with a cordless drill instead of the crank. I need to get the feel of the seamer first and may try the drill later on.

    Ok so cool Tyler, I've been looking at that same Beast I think it's around eight hundred bucks there are advertising it in BYO. Maybe Santa Claus will get it for me. Have you sourced out anybody that can make labels to go on cans or have you figured that out already. Cheers, oh and I love the intro very sexy

    • @EvertyBrewing
      @EvertyBrewing  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah they had a really good deal after NHC that could not be passed up. I have been looking for labels but have not made a decision on which way I'm going to go. I was thinking about a generic one that I write the beer name, date, IBU, ABV on but that is a lot of writing if you can a full batch. So Im not sure which way Ill be going. Ill post something once I figure that out.

    Which website did you use to order this specific product? I am looking to purchase but can’t seem to find it. Also, how are you liking the product? Any cons?

    • @EvertyBrewing
      @EvertyBrewing  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was told that they are working on getting their website updated. I contacted them via email, they were pretty quick to respond. Here is the email address customerrelations@wafco.com. So far so good, however I have not done a big canning run yet. I have had some issues tweaking in the 12 oz adjustment which you will see in my video this Friday. I am working on motorizing it using a power drill so that will hopefully increase my productivity and for under $100, stay tuned on that project. Any questions feel free to hit me up on my Facebook page too. facebook.com/Evertybrew/

    • @EvertyBrewing
      @EvertyBrewing  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah not everyone is on the canning bandwagon and that is perfectly OK. Me Im lazy when it comes to cleaning bottles and give a lot of bottles away. So i figured I would give this a try. In a year from now Im sure Ill have a better opinion of canning over bottling. For now Im just having fun with something new to play with lol. Cheers!
