I have all the plungers you played(and many many more) and the Shastock is my favorite, dont put the plunger too close when it don't have a hole , also you can open a hole to the hardware store one and to the rubber H&B , this improves dramatically the intonation and the mute is much more playable, don't forget that for many years all the master plunger players use sink rubbers or metal plungers without a hole when he use it with pixie with no problems, today I ordered the KR and I hope to like it. I also collect mutes but i have only 60 ... Regards
Today I recive the KR Indigo max and I believe that is not so good , I still prefer my old Ray Parkyns rubber plunger , is lighter better tuning and very good buzz with the half cost. Regards
I'll have to check out the Ray Parkyns plunger, I've never played one. That's a big thing with mutes, every person is different, so it's definitely not one size fits all.
Yes - very true! This was #mutemonday episode one ... I think this mute is due an update to be more in line with the rest of the series. However, the KR Indigo is still (IMO) the most in tune and easiest playing plunger that's being made, now or in the past.
150-200 mutes! That is an amazing collection! Thank you for creating this fun series. I look forward to seeing & hearing more of your cool collection!
More to come!
Missing mute Monday!
New one coming this week! Had to take this past week off to catch up on a few things and update some behind the scenes stuff.

What do you think of the Denis Wick aluminum plunger?
Love the vid, but remember…”the sound” is unique to every player. That’s why there are so many different products.
