Poem: Sonder Valley

I live next to a valley cupping
A sea of lives
Steel bubbles
Flowing elsewhere
Caught in the undertow
Of life
I have surrendered
To the dull wash
Of rubber and asphalt
Rising at all hours
Seeping through my windows
Leaking into my
Thoughts
It overflows to you now -
Softer, gentler, as words
Poured from my head
To yours
(How are you?
I hope this poem
Finds you well.)
