Both very good stories. Two thoughts. 1st story, I often wonder in these stories...is it reasonable to punish someone for something they haven't done yet? and in 2nd story lesson learned, stop bringing dudes home from bars. It never ends well lol.

Yeah, I hate it when the future wrongdoer doesn't regress like their victims. Because they end up being innocent, confused victims. They have no idea why their friend/defender suddenly hates them & distance themselves from them. There was a story where the FL defended the severely abused teenager that was an orphan. He was beaten by the family that adopted him, & they forced him to work tirelessly & maintain them.
She was the heiress of an influential family, & ended up dead. Because the boy she loved & protected turned on her. A b*tch that had regressed tricked the dude into thinking that SHE was the one that actually saved his life when they were younger. When he was about to jump off a bridge, after years of abuse.
The b*tch used past memories to manipulate him, & he accepted the word of his "savior". So he ended up destroying the Fl's family, taking over the company, & had her trafficked. He didn't realize the truth until it was too late, & ended up jumping off a bridge. After making penance for his sins.
So when the FL regresses, she stopped defending him & humiliated him. The dude didn't recover his past memories, until the end. After his adoptive dad sold him into the same human trafficking ring, the FL was sold into in the 1st life.
That shit didn't settle right with me, & I disliked the story. The FL became MERCILESS & made the life of the already abused & bullied kid, even worst. Even though she knew he had no memories of their past life.
Anyway, sorry for the rant. But thanks for your time.

About punishing someone for something they haven’t done yet in reborn stories, usually (not always) the “villain” has already started the evil cycle when the main character is reborn it’s just at a point where the MC was extremely emotionally injured. Yes, there is a great deal of trauma they discuss that happens after that point in the story that ends up not happening because that is the point but I think that it is a good idea to include previous trauma to further explain why that point was so important. Also it’s simply human nature to try to avoid a certain bad outcome if you know it’s going to happen. The villain in this story has been taking the MC for a ride monetarily for 10 years to the tune of $15 million and wants more, so completely unrepentant.

I like the first story, even though he was not guilty of leaving her on t h e side of the road,he still used her, saving a life is reward itself

That's a logic police applies i.e. a crime that hasn't happened can't be charged yet... But why should individuals go by that rule? By your logic should FL forget all tat happened in past and live her life trying to at max avoid the jerks? Why should she forget the harms she suffered even if it's in a past life tat none else remembered? Just cos they haven't done anything yet, does tat somehow erase all bad deeds they did in the past?
There was once a case about a guy who killed an older neighbor lady brutally - reason was when he was young n had tried running away from his sxually abusive dad, she found and brought him back although he begged her not to, she didn't believe his complaints as his dad had a good rep around... Did the lady do a bad thing knowingly? Nope, she did what was a good thing generally.. but did tat mean she didn't harm the kid- yep...
There is a saying where I am from - 'If you throw a stone without looking clearly, don't cry if you get a punch back'

There are 2 stories in this post. Both are very good and very satisfying reborn/revenge stories.

Not sure what it's like there but around here, better to be abandoned in the suburbs than the city. Recently, a 12 year old girl took the wrong streetcar and got lost downtown (in the city). She went to the public library asking to use the phone to call her mom and they said no, nor would they help her to use the payphone that they told her to use. Poor thing was standing on the sidewalk crying until a stranger helped her. Thanks for shattering your image as a safe place for children, Toronto Public Library.

Suburbs don't mean the same everywhere....I've heard it used to mean rural isolated village areas...

It seems like at that point the first story was ended before the end and a new story began.

Suburbs in those parts may not mean the same as in NA or UK.... I've heard it used exchangeably with rural village places...
