Great video and love this setup I still own my ARC LS15 that l bought in 1995 and still going strong I recently replace the original tubes l have it matched with a Spectron musical MKII amp This combination really makes my Maggie's come alive with dynamics sound stage and inner detail
I like your explanation; personally I would want tubes with vintage Klipsch. Mapleshade did some wonderful things with Scott EL84 amps. Unobtanium now.
Very nice setup, appropriately matched as well, great work! Most audiophiles dont have the space or budget for dedicated listening rooms really or systems exceeding $10k.
My my... Lovely Klipsch Cornwall I's ! Still enjoying mine from 1983 !!! Curious why not consider tubes ? These are crazy efficient it does not need much.. like 5 wpc is plenty ! Some modern tube integrated can be had for under $2K. Regardless, still a GORGEOUS system ! Well done !
Audio research......... power amplifier is solid state with powerfully musical sound at any volume level. With the warmth and tonality of tubes but speed and bass and detail of a good solid state. Preamplifier...... The of tubes all the way.
If I recall correctly they were retiring and downsizing their collection... with a priority on smaller speakers and gear! These were the last item they were thinking about selling, and for a long time they tried everything to keep.
I still regret selling my SP6c and assorted ARC amplifiers of the same period. I had a great room and the right system in it. Maybe someday I will revive it.
Hi folks: Does any one hooked up the ARC components to vintage JBL speaker likes JBL C50, c51, JBL 4343, 4333A etc.. I am not happy when hooked up the MC 275 version II, Mac C2300 preamp to the JBL C50 olympus, although hooking up the MAC stuffs and JBL C50, they sound clear, transparent but less tight bass, I searched over google and see the audio Research Ref 3 preamplifier hooking up with the mate ARC Reference 110 amp to the modern speakers like s Sonus faber, Wilson, Focal that they sound very good, giving the Mac smoke... but I couldn't find the information how good if the Audio Research components to hook up with the vintage speaker, Altec valencia, Klipsch lasaca, JBL 4350... etc how it sounds...? I scare if I switch from Mac gear to ARC gear for using with the Vintage speakers, It sounds not good as the ARC using with the modern speaker ,,,,,at that time I shoot to the leg of myself.. Thanks in advance!
Have you seen some of their prices? When I would go to the Japanese used audio stores their prices were also as high as hell, they must think there's like millions of vintage audio collectors which is no longer the case that market is dwindling as fast as the old folks are dying.
Love the gentle pace and detailed delivery of these videos. Much appreciated.
I keep coming back to this video. I love that set up. Beautiful
Awesome! Thank you!
@@SkyFiAudio your very welcome. I injoy your content, I find it Enjoyable and informative.
What a great aesthetically matched system!
Really enjoy your videos. Listening to Johnny Hodges now. Keep up the great work.
Acquired a pair of oiled walnut Cornwall 1’s from 1982 this past year. They have been very enjoyable to listen to. Great video again Fernando

Those vintage Klipsch Cornwalls look and sound amazing! Why would the previous owner want to give them up, and what is he replacing them with?
If I recall correctly they were retiring and downsizing their collection... with a priority on smaller speakers and gear! These were the last item they were thinking about selling, and for a long time they tried everything to keep.
I'd love to find a pair of Cornwall I to purchase here in Australia. Great video btw
Beautiful.
Nice haven’t seen sky fi in a bit, I’ve been studying for a while and still can’t comfortably do a turn key system.
Nice. Could the phono stage hang on brackets above the line-stage? I like the system but it might be tidier with the phono stage in the rack.
very nice
What was the budget required to acquire this system?

Any info on those stands ? Beautiful.

Is that a Cello pre-amp in the background? Like the old Braun kit it really is stunning.
Audio research 🤗💯💯💯
Interested to know the end price for such a well put together system and what you charge for the concierge service.
Feel free to give us a ring to chat and we'd be happy to chat.
I’m curious what version are the Cornwalls and did you update the crossovers? Nice system.

Me parece un servicio impagable, no sólo por el ahorro del tiempo, sino por la calidad.
Can’t understand why you would DEM an old recording of poor quality.
