    "When we talk about revolution, we must talk about changing VALUES." Ture understood the issue simply and clearly, revolution isn't just some movie scene of gun battles and speeches, its about taking a radical militant attitude against every facet of our society that reinforces bad principles, because these principles shape our minds and thus our lives. It takes a lot of courage and power of the mind to take a hard & clear look at our world, and to diagnose the problems & to come up with the cure, but we have to cultivate this courage and will! Otherwise our revolution will fail no matter what.

      @@jereee4732 That's a nice slogan, but you should probably study the ideas before you hate them.
      As someone from a more or less socialist country (Sweden) it is quite clear to me that the American view on "red" ideologies is tainted by fear and propaganda.
      You don't have to like it, but don't just look at the worst examples, learn from the best as well. Scandinavia have some of the happiest and high functioning countries in the world and they all lean quite red in comparison to America. I'm assuming you are from America only because of the slogan you named, I could be wrong.

  • @johnsuplicki
    @johnsuplicki 3 ปีที่แล้ว +33

    There's one thing that Ture intimates here that could use a little expansion, because its effects are profound, and that's the effects of accruing the profit. Profit aside from material benefits yields leisure time. YOU DON'T WORK IF YOU PROFIT! Time is always the most valuable human commodity. The lack of time is why some lead lives of ignorance and toil. The luxury of time is why others become so greedy-- they become addicted to all the pleasures that can be enjoyed without having to toil, the ease and stresslessness of such an existence. This is also what profit is.

    Capital is the surplus of money available through inheritance (or another source) basically money a person does not need for living. Capitalism is to use the surplus capital, independently without the state entity, by purchasing equipment and labor creating the condition of exploitation by generating more revenue/profit through business-to-business competition.

    Man sells shirt for $7.50. No one buys. Man automates the factory. Shirts now sell at $4, but why not $5? Another man sells them for $4.50. That man is called competition. Competition drives down prices. The lesser the competition usually the higher the price. Too many workers and too little jobs drives down labor cost because of competition between workers. More jobs mean less competition between workers but more between employers for those workers. To compete employers raise wages. This is why the number one factor of production in the states is entrepreneurship.

      Everything you said is true but what you are leaving out is that those increases and decreases prices and wages stay within a range and not beyond.
      When they go beyond that margin either up or down, the economy is manipulated by the FED to bring them both back down within the desired range. They do that by raising interest, creating more money, etc. etc.
      Adam Smith suggested that there was an unseen hand that determined price and wage amount. That unseen hand he suggested was collective human behavior and other uncontrollable factors. In this day and time the FED is that unseen hand.

    2023, the UK is going through the worst economic crisis seen in recent history, the whole country is practically shut down because of strike. You injured? Doctors on strike, u a student? Teachers on strike, u need to go somewhere? Train and bus drivers on strike. So they pay the workers more, food prices up 25%, the ULEZ expands so the govt takes more money from the people to run our hospitals and schools and so now we're paying more tax and spending more on food we need to strike again to get more money to eat while they live comfortably even without raising the prices. Could you imagine if the millionaire capitalists in govt spent out of their own pockets. I don't call myself socialist, i call myself Muslim, I believe classes can exist without domination because the upper classes should be paying things like zakat (at least 2.5% of their income) to the lower classes so we can work without needing to strike, as they get rich we get rich. Britain needs to understand Islam - it can save our people from starvation. More people rely on charities and food banks than ever before and Sunak's approach is to raise interest, you ain't need to raise interest, you need to raise your morals. The problem isnt interest rates; THE PROBLEM IS CAPITALISM💯

      MovieMaker2100 I encourage you to read about anarcho-syndicalism. There are plenty of real world examples of this happening. Catalonia, during the Spanish Civil War, abolished the state and was run by the people. It was extremely successful. How about almost every example of indigenous communities. Villages from Mexico to Russia have been run as communities connected to a network of communities that have little to no central government. A really good book on this is Guillermo Bonfil Battalla’s work Mexico Profundo. In regards to your question of regulations, these would be decided and enforced by worker committees participating in direct democracy or community meetings operated similarly. Coercion is achieved through the threat of exile. Aka you have to abide by the decisions of your workplace or community democracy or you would be forced to leave those institutions.

      @@russellgordon4106 Yeah that sounds pike a bunch of corny BS.
      In the west, things like this can't be implemented and your entire scenario of local committees that can exclude people sounds like an open door for discrimination.

    This is why when the minimum wage goes up so does your rent, food, gas and everything else.. those recently happened. Capitalism keeps you living in places you can barely afford. Places won't except you if you make too much money. You must live in a Housing development that takes more out of your pocket. This is why overtime is taxed at a higher percentage.. it's to keep you from advancing and if you're single forget about it.. the taxes almost triple. Healthcare? You can forget about that as well.. the older you get the harder it is to find and keep. Now some assisted living places are having people sign over their homes and property to assisted living place when they are admitted.. 🚶🏽‍♂️🧢🪑
