Peltier effect is reverse of seebeck. When Electric current or voltage diff is applied across two junctions, there is temp difference due to flow of heat

But explanation is nowhere in the lecture, why emf gets generated, what is the mechanism, what are the sources of error.

Wrong definition of peptide effect actually peltier is the reverse effect of seeback it states that if an emf is produced a current is flowing is a circuit with two different conductors joined together to make two junction a temperature gradient or a difference of temperature will be observed at two ends. That is one end will be closer and other will be hotter

Mam voltmeter is always connected in parallel
Two dissimilar materials as in two different resistances connected in parallel. voltmeter is kept along one of the resistances which means its in parallel.
