The ITALY for ITALIANS! LOVED IT... a great place to visit without 10 million touristas ... Verona too! always go to the second-tier cities: Lyons, Utrecht, etc. get away from the masses ...so much more REAL
It was for sure a different experience than in most of the other Italian cities I’ve been to. Glad you loved it there too and appreciate the recs for the other cities as well, been meaning to go back to France and haven’t been to the Netherlands yet!

the university of bologna is not one of the universities, but the oldest university in the world, older than the english ones
