You made it the way polaris should have from the start. I am in love with this setup. If i could just go out and buy it for the price of a slingshot i would do it in a heartbeat. But the dollars and labor would just rack up to quick for me sourcing the car, the roof, the rear end setup, the turbo and welding in a partial cage along the roofline but my goodness would it be a thrill. Its not the thought of the cost thats stopping me but just the inability to actually come up with the cash. Congratulations to you sir for building an awesome ride.

Putting an actual rear end in it would take the stability flaw out of the slingshot. Giving it stability, but you would have to add some kind of rear fenders to make it look cool again.
Looks better with 4 wheels but i cant justify the price of one 30k+ for a mid level trim and then probably another 10k for this conversion so you have a 40k+ honda civic essentially that is less reliable.
