The principle is clear. The white color in the watercolor painting must only come from the paper, not from pigment.

The definition of a tutorial as opposed to a demonstration needs defining. Although the work is excellent, it’s not a tutorial it’s a demo as there are zero instructions. It proposes to be for beginners, I doubt if any beginners will learn from this demo, but that’s just my opinion.
